Nate Ortiz stands with Jim Black. Nate is wearing a black hoodie and black sweats. From the look on his face it is easy to see he is not here for games tonight.
Nate: Jim it’s been a while.
Jim: Always a pleasure Mr. Ortiz. What is your mindset going into tonight.
Nate: The stipulation may say that if I lose tonight I can’t compete for the summer season as of tonight. But it may as well safe they my career is over. Because to be honest, if I don’t walk out with a win tonight it is over.
Nate: I’ve given over half my life to this place and being mediocre has never been acceptable to me. Losing tonight would mean just that. Despite all I’ve done, the accolades, the awards, the championships. The last memory would be that from the start of June, to the end of August, I wouldn’t be able to be in a ring.
Nate: I would have to live with the fact that I couldn’t beat Tiberius Dupree when on the second biggest stage that we have. I’ll be damned if I let that happen tonight.
Nate:
Tiberius has to try and push this narrative that I’m washed up and just grasping at straws to stay relevant. Washed up doesn’t be Mugen at the height of his power for the OCW Championship. Tired doesn’t take Drago within a japanese ref of losing at Wrestlution.
Nate: Tonight Jim, I’m just going to solidify everything I’ve done. In the process erasing a 4 year old black mark on my career. When the battle is over and Tiberius rolls out of the ring and up the ramp he is going to see me taking a knee in the center of the ring.
