Shep smiles evilly as the boos rain down from around the arena. He calls for a mic as the staff tends to Cort on the outside.

Shep: This was a long time coming… No need for the why Shep? Why? Because I’m going to tell you what’s good while they get that joke out of here.

More boos pour in as Shep takes it all in Pride title still in hand.

Shep: For the longest time I used to question why I wasn’t getting put in the big spots. Why I did more work than guys that came in at the same time as me yet that got the rookie label taken off months before me.

Shep: I came to realization like so many before me that if I want anything then I have to take it for myself. I look at what Kassidy did. He took his opportunity and has been running with it ever since. He proved the doubters wrong and didn’t let anyone stop him from that.

Shep: I thought that was me and Cort. We hitched on to the wrong wagon and made something out of nothing. But whenever we were at the top, somehow Cort found a way to let me down. Pandering to you people instead of going for the win. Not getting there to help me the way I helped him.

Shep: Take last week for example I bailed his ass out. These knees been the hell out of the Uncrowned and brought home the win. Sitting there thinking about it, it finally hit me that I don’t need Cort to get where I need to be. 

Shep: But I wanted to give him a chance but tonight showed we he was who I thought he was. And I wasn’t letting him off the hook. So what you just saw was the end of AWOL and the rise of the Pride of OCW.

Shep raises the Pride title high in the air.

Shep: I’m claiming this because Cort doesn’t deserve this. I deserved this, and I’m taking it! Cort if you have a problem with that after they fix you up. I’ll be there on the red show ready to do the same thing again…

Shep: I am a man of the people and the real ones understand exactly what tonight was.

Shep admires the Pride title before rolls out of the ring. Cort is still being tended to he walks by smirks before hopping into the crowd. Turmoil ends as Shep gloats with the stolen Pride title.
