Ladies and Gentleman we are back on the scene! With RIOT 601!

Everything begins a new! This is SEASON 18!

Backstage on Riot, we find ourselves in a private locker room in the arena, the door emblazoned with the logo of the Scumchester Academy.

No sooner does it come into focus then, does the door open, and out steps a well-dressed, immaculately groomed Christian Garcia, who walks past and allows the camera to enter the room.

Inside, all three other members of the Academy, and the group’s patriarch, seem to be in various states of preparation. Wrex seems to be getting ready for his own match, staring at last week’s Turmoil repeat, while Samsin, Megan, and Luis all just seem to be there to observe. Megan, currently, is observing Luis.

Megan: Nice shirt, by the way.

Luis looks down and stretches out his “Mount Scummore” shirt

Luis: I know right! They just came in the other week and I’ve been re-

Megan: I’m not on it, though.

An awkward pause follows, and Luis seems a bit concerned that he might have genuinely offended Megan… that is, until the girl starts chuckling, giving him a rare smile. Samsin joins in, a bit louder than he probably should, and soon, Luis is half-heartedly laughing along.

Wrex: Can you three shut the fuck up? I’m trying to focus here.

The laughter dies down, and the crew re-focuses on their erstwhile leader.

Samsin: Hasn’t Colby been locked up for the last six months? I can guarantee you, all that he’s been planning for, in that time, has been tonight. You just gotta give him the most brutal welcome back he can imagine. Right?

Megan: Aye, pretty sure he didn’t just sit in prison learning crochet.

Luis: You’d be surprised to learn what people do to pass the time in there

Wrex: Colby is good, but six months of ring rust to work off? He’ll be a good example to remind a certain someone I’m still here.

Samsin: Not a doubt in my mind you have it handled. And you know I’m here if you need me for anything, Coach. But, I gotta get headin out there to set everyone straight about Joe Deaver last month at Ambition…

Megan: You’re telling him not to worry, and you’re worried over that pencil neck?

Luis: I mean the last time they wrestled, Deaver really took this man Samsin to the limit. Deaver has a lot going for him, just needs to get his head on straight.

Samsin: I’m pretty sure it was Deaver who had the match pulled from the air in the first place.. and I don’t like it. To go out there and have a match like that, makes me feel like my career is being edited out of existence..

Wrex: This Deaver shit again, I ain’t got time for this, I’ll be back in an hour, don’t touch my Daniels.

With that, Wrex leaves, tying up his wrist tape as he does so, leaving his three pupils to their own devices, where they all look to each other.

Kassidy: One, two, three! All eyes on me, Juvies!

Kassidy is smiling standing in the center of a new set for My Place with Kasstianity; the set is bright and colorful, with a playful and inviting atmosphere that’s perfect for kids. The backdrop features the three large stained glass windows portrayed in Kassidy’s entrances.

At the center of the room lies a large circular wool rug where a handful of juveniles of widely varying ages sit to be Kassidy’s live reactions.

Around the rug are various props for the juvies to interact with such as Kasstainity coloring books, Kasstianity take home bible studies, and small statues of Kasstianity members.

Kassidy: It’s Friday and do you know what that means?

Juvies: It’s RYU Day!

Kassidy: That’s right, it’s Ryu Day!

The juvies clap,

Kassidy: But it’s not just any Ryu Day, today is a special Ryu Day.

Kassidy: Last week we all paid our respects to Ryu with Empress and the 10 bell salute but today, we celebrate the rising of Ryu’s ghost.

Spider wanders onto the set, the juvies all scramble in fear, several people behind the cameras can be heard audibly gasping.

RYU: Oh hi Kass, I didn’t notice you there. What’s everyone so upset about?

Kassidy: Juvies, be calm, this is a good thing. Ryu has risen and we can continue to thank Ryu for everything we have today within Kasstianity.

Kassidy: Ryu heard your prayers, felt your grief, and has returned to us in a holy spirit. Who needs Easter, when we have, Ryu Day!

Ryu stretches for a bit making audible cracking while doing so,

Kassidy: Are you making decrepit noises? That doesn’t make sense at all as someone who is risen from the beyond, you shouldn’t be making actual physical noises.

RYU: I’M NOT DEAD DAMMIT! Don’t listen to him kids, could someone who’s dead do this?!

Ryu grabs two books that are near him, jumps up on a piece of the set and starts waving them around.

RYU: WooooOoOoOooOooooOooo, I’m in the land of the living WooOOooooOooOooooOo

The children begin to laugh,

Kassidy: I wonder if “jesus” ever did this to his believers, juvies.

Kassidy chuckles,

Kassidy: That’s going to be all for today juvies, Three, Two, One! Now have fun! And remember, Thank you RYU, for your lord and savior.

RYU: I’M NOT A GHOST DA-

The “My Place with Kasstianity” music cuts off Ryu as Kassidy and the juvies wave to at home audience.
