Previously Recorded!

The camera opens to a clearing in a forest, with a roaring bonfire in the middle. Two lawn chairs sit empty with a few beer cans nestled in the dirt. A bag lays dormant next to the chairs. The bonfire roars for a second before a cloaked figure slowly steps into the frame.

Their head rises, which reveals the face of Solomon Caine. He steps backward into one of the lawn chairs before slumping into the seat.

Solomon Caine: No one believed...

Caine reaches down and pulls up his jeans to reveal the brace on his lower right leg. He unstraps the brace and holds it in his right hand, showing it to the camera.

Solomon Caine: ...but I told you so.

Caine throws the brace into the fire, which flares.

Solomon Caine: I always tell y’all so. And I know what you’re saying. I’ve seen the dirt sheets and the internet cretins named Mark with their pudgy fingers.

Caine puts on a whiny voice.

Solomon Caine: “We missed out on such a good match!”

Joshua Tucker enters the frame in a t-shirt and jeans. He takes a seat in the chair next to Caine. Caine points at him.

Solomon Caine: What you witnessed at Consequence was mountains better than any beating this man could’ve put on him. OCW has surpassed the need for one-trick clowns, and it was only apropos that Blacksmith’s one trick was his end.

Solomon Caine: With or without quote-unquote defeating that now-retired hasbeen, Joshua Tucker is a rising star in OCW. And El Parca, or hell, B17 should be put on notice.

Solomon Caine: I mean think about it, didn’t El Parca lose to Blacksmith right before he became champion? If he can’t put down a clown, how is he gonna put down a top OCW talent like Joshua Tucker...? But you know how it is, sometimes people just can’t face the facts.

Caine reaches down and unzips the bag next to his chair. He pulls out a green horsehead, the one worn by Blacksmith at Consequence.

Solomon Caine: Joshua Tucker isn’t a flash in the pan or a shooting star. He’s a five-alarm fire, headed right to the top floor of OCW stardom. Blacksmith is simply victim number one.

Caine throws the horsehead into the fire, which roars again.

Joshua Tucker: Let’s go.

The camera fades to black.

It's a Match!
AISU'S LOCK HORN CHALLENGE!

We open in the trainer's room. Wrex can be seen talking to the doctor, not long until showtime. Although there might not be a showtime with how the doctor seems to be acting.

Doc: Wrex. You and I both know you shouldn’t be cleared for action. I mean the broken ribs, the concussion, your shoulder.. and that's on top of the knees. There is no way in hell you should be performing.

Wrex: And you and I both know that neither of us have a choice, it's booked, it's advertised and it's happening. And let's be honest we know Sensation would fire you first before me. I’d just be docked pay. So just write a bill of clean health, wrap me up and fuck off.

The exasperated doctor heads off to write down blatant lies while Wrex goes back to reading last week's copy of OCW magazine, more importantly, the safety rankings.

Wrex: I’m the safest worker in OCW history? Yeah that sounds about right, no one else on this roster can safely stomp on a man's head.. Parca just took it wrong.

#Austin: Since when have you ever been considered the safest worker?

#Austin comes stepping into the trainers room two drinks in his hand and a mask pulled down around his chin.

#Austin: You forget the amount of head trauma you put me through?

Wrex: Hey, I’m not the one who wrote this thing.

#Austin: Maybe we make it the second or third as it will be more believable at this point. Not that I have a history of forging medical records.

#Austin takes a sip from one of his drinks

#Austin: Serious though, you alright? i know i have been gone thanks to #Fake-News-19 but still.

#Austin: I saw the conversation with B the other day, don't let him get to you man. I know it's easier said than done but the man doesn't have a leg to stand on.

#Austin: Every time he fell he had people catch him and help him rise back up. Shit even after his vacation he relied on #Invictus, hell i was the one who even kept him relevant with my version of the #Vacation Punch as he was at home.

Wrex: ..Sometimes I wonder man, maybe he’s onto something. Everytime I fail the hurdle it seems someone else helps me up, never me. I'm always content to just sit and drink till someone else tells me to stop and get back to work.

#Austin: Look I am the biggest B17 fan in the world. Great friend outside of the ring and great competitor in the ring. But he isn't right about this. Plus I would never admit he is right

#Austin: You going to let one person bring you down because he beat you? You and me have fought all over the world and you beat me every time, yet I don't harp on that shit.

Wrex: It’s what I do Lee, I get somewhere, Bingo knocks me down, I go into a slump, someone gets me out of it. Repeat.

#Austin: Yea and before you didn't have a Bastard helping you Scumbag. So tape up whatever you need to and let's get you ready for this match.

#Austin raises his hand for a fist bump.

#Austin: Second thought might not want to do that still waiting for my test.

#Austin pulls his mask up over his face

Wrex: Knowing my luck I’d probably fuck up my only arm left too… Thanks man.

#Austin lowers his mask down to take a sip of his second drink as he exits the training room

Wrex is left behind to get the many protective measures applied to him, though in his head he’s still not sure if Bingo is completely wrong, the conversation with Austin making things all the more confusing, but now isn’t the time to think of it, there's a match coming, and he needs to be prepared as possible, mentally as well as physically.
