OCWFED.com Presents TURMOIL

The scene opens with a wide shot of a press conference set up, where journalists and fans alike are gathered in an audience to bear witness to the final confrontation between Doc Green and B-17 prior to their OCW World Heavweight Championship bout at Wrestlelution 13.

There are curtains set up either side of a stage which dominates the back of the room, plastered with promotional text for the fight. In the centre, a microphone stand and a podium is set up for a moderator, with tables either side, presumably for the two competitors.

After a few moments of anticipation, out comes Jim Black, dressed sharply and waving at the crowd as they give him a round of applause as he enters He makes his way to the moderator’s stand and places some paper down on it.

Jim Black:
Good afternoon everyone, thank you all for coming. The two competitors will be out shortly, feel free to ask questions once they’re both sat down. You know the drill, we don’t need another one of these getting hairy.

The crowd let out a small chuckle and Black smiles and nods.

Jim Black:
Alright. Let’s get down to business. Introducing first, the challenger, hailing from Chicago, weighing in today at 235 pounds, B-17!

The remixed version of ‘True Survivor’ blares over the loudspeakers as B-17 makes his way through the right-hand curtain, dressed head to toe in black athletic gear, accompanied by a team of 4 burly men, some of which could be trainers, or bodyguards. He’s met by mostly boos and jeers, with a small number of fans sympathetic towards his point of view.

As he makes his way towards his seating area, B-17 takes a moment to soak in the atmosphere, spreading his arms wide in a similar fashion to how he did on the previous turmoil, when he was gladly stomping away at the hand of Doc Green’s best friend and tag team partner, Antonio Everrett.

B-17:
So good to see all of Doc Green’s minion fans out here, you’re all so pathetic!

He points at a small child wearing a replica Doc Green jacket.

B-17:
[You little worm! Don't you understand that I'm the one you should be cheering for!

The kid starts crying, and his mother quickly consoles the young boy. A sight pain crosses B17's face...then turns his attention towards Jim Black.

B-17:
Why am I coming out first? Where is Mr. Green? I WANT HIM OUT HERE NOW!

Jim Black: As you wish, Mr. 17. Introducing second, hailing from London, England, weighing in today at 188 pounds, he is the reigning, defending, undisputed OCW World Heavyweight champion of the world; Doc Green!

’Unorthodox’ rings around the room and from the left-hand curtain comes Doc Green, smartly dressed in a grey jacket/white button-up shirt combination, with blue jeans and smart shoes, and red-tinted sunglasses.

He confidently walks with his team, amongst them the familiar face of Antonio Everrett, hoisting the OCW World Heavyweight Championship over his shoulder proudly as he goes.

Doc carefully places the championship on the table covered in black cloth as he sits down, takes his sunglasses off and stuff them in his blazer pocket, then grabs a sip of water before moving the microphone towards him.

Doc:
Cheers, eh? Great to be here, so, so great. Great knowing that in just one short week, that prick over there is gonna get what’s coming to him. He wanted my attention so badly, and you know what? He got it, well done.

He sarcastically claps towards B-17, who is visibly loving it.

B-17:
Thank you. Now clap a little louder.

Jim Black: Gentlemen, you will have the chance to settle your issues in the ring. If you would, we’re going to open the floor to the media if someone would like to begin.

There’s a short commotion while a number of journalists stand up to rush to be the one to ask the first question.

Male Reporter:
Hi, Jimmy Jenkins here from ESPN, I have a question for Doc. With Wrestlelution looming, it seems like your opponent has the mental edge going into your bout. How do B-17’s mind games affect you going into such an important match?

Doc: Well, I don’t really know how to answer you there other than he’s going to pay for it.The man is a joke. He’s showed his true colours and got my closest friends involved, it’s despicable if you ask me. His mind games won’t affect me, hope that answers your question.

B-17: Joke! I've been bleeding, fighting, humping my way through OCW longer than your career, show some respect for those that make your title reign possible!

Doc shakes his head and laughs, trying not to rise to B-17’s words.

Female Reporter:
Question for B-17. In recent weeks, you’ve undergone a drastic change in character, blaming Doc Green’s fans for it. What is it about Doc Green, and his fans, that you hate so much?

B-17: Hate? Hate? I don't hate them. I pity them. I pity that they failed to see true beauty through me. I pity that they don't accept how amazing and progressive I am for this world. I pity that they are blind mice in maze following a sense of hopefulness that will be crushed once they get to the end and find nothing.

Doc: Why don’t you come here and say that to my face then, dickhead?

Doc stands up, fighting the resistance of his team, and steps round to the front of the stage, title in hand. B-17 happily obliges in joining him and squaring up to him. Doc holds the title high in his left hand, once again using his other hand to hold up his middle finger in an act of defiance.

They inaudibly trash talk each other for about 30 seconds, Black having to step in at certain points to stop them from fighting there and then.

B-17:
I will be Living Bingo Color at Wrestlution!

Doc says nothing but continues to stare daggers through B-17. Jim allows them to separate and return to their teams, who have now also gathered on the stage.

Doc turns his back to B-17, who takes the opportunity to take a cheap shot at the back of Doc’s head, causing him to stumble forward before turning back, incensed.

Doc attempts to retaliate, but is held back by his team while B17 stands there holding up his hands. Doc holds his championship high again, pointing at it and indicating clearly that he intends to keep it. The scene fades as the commotion continues.
