TONY EVERRETT vs. B17*
The scene opens in a dimly lit room, candles are burning as we see Lady Caleigh wearing all black ropes standing at what appears to be an altar.
Caleigh is speaking softly under her voice as a door can be heard opening. As the door opens illuminating the room with the natural light it quickly shuts only leaving the candles as the source of light. Joanna Silver and Morgan Blackheart enter the room as they are fifteen feet away from Caleigh.
Caleigh picks her head up noticing the two women as she begins what seems to be a sermon.
Caleigh: Tonight, we will welcome a new friend, daughter, and believer in the house.
As Caleigh is starting her sermon slowly Joanna and Morgan make their way to the altar. Joanna holding Morgan’s hand is talking to her softly.
Joanna: HE doesn’t matter anymore, HE holds no power here, HE is nothing, WE are everything. THIS is your new home, WE are your new family. And now, my sweet black dandelion you will be adopted and welcomed into our house.
The two women start walking closer to the altar as Lady Caleigh keeps going with her sermon. Morgan shyly lifts her head, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, as she listens to the charismatic Lady Caleigh.
Morgan: She has a beautiful way with words, doesn’t she? I don’t think I’ve ever heard someone speak with such passion. Such kindness.
Caleigh: Opening one's third eye is never an easy task. To open your third eye you must face controversy, you must face your biggest fears, and you must become one with the deepest darkest demons inside of you.
Joanna: Caleigh does have a way with words. She found me when I was at my lowest and gave me purpose again. She enlightened me, showed me the way, and helped me open my third eye. And tonight, this will all happen to you as well my black dandelion.
Morgan turns her head to Joanna and smiles at her new friend as they walk closer to the altar, looking up at her magnificence.
Morgan: Do you think she’ll be able to help me? Really? I’ve had these thoughts in my head...these voices. This constant yelling telling me that I’m nobody. That I’m just a burden to everyone around me. I need them to stop. I can’t take this pressure anymore, Joanna. I feel at any moment, my mind is going to detach from this reality…
Morgan bows her head in shame.
Morgan: I’ve been to therapists. I’ve been to healers, holy men, and witch doctors alike. No one has been able to help me break this curse.
Joanna stops bringing Morgan to a stop as well. Joanna turns the young lady toward her as she embraces Morgan in a heartfelt hug as she whispers into Morgan’s ear.
Joanna: Those healers, holy men, and witch doctors don’t understand what it’s like to have a purpose bigger than themselves. That is who we are, that is what those voices are trying to guide you to. Those voices, they brought you to me and Lady Caleigh, those voices are the ones that will help you open your third eye. Tonight, you will be reborn and those voices will be embraced, you are a burden to no one, you are loved, for me and Caleigh? We are your family now my little dandelion.
Joanna breaks away but quickly begins walking Morgan back down the aisle as the two begin walking nearer and nearer to Lady Caleigh’s excellence.
Morgan: I hope I’m worthy of being saved.
Morgan looks towards Lady Caleigh.
Morgan: She looks like an angel. It’s as if all the light in the universe encompasses her up there.
The two women finally approach the altar as they look up to Lady Caleigh. Joanna whispers one final sentence before her excellency looks down to them.
Joanna squeezes Morgan’s hand a little so Morgan notices.
Joanna: It’s time my little black dandelion…
Caleigh: Morgan Blackheart, you think you are unworthy, a burden, a disgrace, many things that are not true. You, my child, are hurt, confused, and most of all suffering. But, thankfully to Joanna, we have been guided to you. And now, you are home. You are going to learn to become one with the voices, one with the pain, and one with your inner turmoil. What say you Morgan Blackheart? Are you ready to open your third eye? Are you ready to become one of the House of Faith?
Morgan looks up into Lady Caleigh’s eyes.
Morgan: Yes! Yes, please…
Lady Caleigh extends her hand to Morgan Blackheart to begin the process of opening Blackheart’s third eye. The cameras pan out as Morgan takes centerstage with Lady Caleigh. The camera’s fade to black.
