The scene opens with Dennis stretching in his dressing room. The audience gives a mixed reaction to the image of the Television Champion on the X-Tron. Shorty after the man hops to his feet, everyone’s favorite abused intern, Ginger, strolls over to Dennis.
Ginger: You’re only weeks away from facing off with Abbott. How are you feeling?
Dennis rolls his shoulders into a shrug. He seemed rather irritated.
Dennis: Why is a Turmoil intern at our OCW Network special...in North Carolina?
The crows pops for that.
Dennis: Why aren’t you in New York? What exactly do you do around here?
The Ginger reaches into his suit jacket and hands Dennis a cell phone.
Ginger: For you.
Dennis takes the cell phone and immediately initiates dialogue.
???: Hey! Hun?
Dennis: Madison?? Where are you?
Dennis motions for the intern to leave.
Ginger: But that’s my-
Dennis points down the hall and the intern sighs before leaving.
Dennis: Where ARE you?
Madison: I overslept…
Dennis: So you’re…
Madison: In New York...but we’re watching the show!
Dennis: We?
Madison: Yea! Alex is here. It’s great. We’re rooting for you. She says you’re an impressive young man. And -
Dennis: And is Alex why you missed your flight?
Madison: I’m a lightweight. Girl’s night out went horribly wrong. But! She did introduce me to this guy that says he works in movies. Says I have a great look. Wants to help me get auditions.
Dennis rolls his eyes.
Madison: After Alex and I watch the show, he wanted to go out to eat. Should be interesting.
Dennis narrowed his eyes.
Dennis: Uh huh…
Madison: I’m rooting for you tonight.
Dennis: The biggest match of my career. Champion against Champion...and you oversleep?! Do you have any idea what this means to me? All the talking I've done. All the talking WE have done? For me to lose to Jackson would be catastrophic!

Dennis ended the call and tossed the phone over his shoulder.
Dennis: Unbelievable…
Dennis storms off as the intern returns.
Ginger: Trouble in paradise? Hey!!! Where is my phone?!
