5 YEARS IN THE MAKING!
Backstage at the biggest stage of the year, Stacy Clark is standing with the trainee of the GTGOAT, Tacitus MacGregor, who's accompanied by another familiar face in Megan Morgandaal.
Stacy: Tacitus, a very exciting Lution season for you, as you've been on something of a hot streak, lately, with your victories over Luis Bishop and Cody Hagen and narrowly missing a Wrestlution moment of your own against Rust Cohle.
Stacy: While your OCW run so far hasn't gone exactly as you drafted it when you first arrived around this time last year, I think it's safe to say your rise over the past few months has definitely exceeded expectations.
Tacitus: I owe that to the GTGOAT, Stacy, simple as that. I'm forever grateful for Nate taking me under his wing here in the past month and a half or so, really helping me find my footing here in OCW and putting me in those deep waters.
Tacitus: In that contender's match, I learned that not only do I belong in OCW, but that I can hang with the best this company has to offer. Former world champions. Former tag champions. International superstars. Future Hall of Famers. I proved that I have what it takes to reach the top of the mountain again.
Tacitus: But tonight, I'm here to support the man who's supported me.
Stacy: Considering recent events, it seems you're also supporting someone else. Miss Megan, if you don't mind, it's been a very eventful couple of months for you as well. You were able to secure a victory over one of the three women fighting for the OCW Women's Championship, Furiosa.
Stacy: It also seems you were finally able to get answers to that question that brought you to OCW, a question that has been bothering you since we met about seven months past. My question for you is, what's next?
Megan: Well, I'm probably not gonna get back in there for a while, for one. I... look. Wrestling took my dad away from me. I never got the moments so many other girls do, you know? I'm a bit bitter about it. Maybe I'll take a step back from in-ring competition for a bit.
Megan: But what I do know, is that there's this blockhead who came within inches of getting his Wrestlution moment, and currently looks to be doing a whole bunch of nothing, who needs someone with a brain to sit on his shoulder and push him into doing something, eh?
Megan gives Tacitus a playful shove, and the taller man just smiles and shrugs.
Stacy: And you, Tacitus?
Tacitus: Lution's a season of change, Stacy. I think I'll get a lay of the land, see where the chips and the titles fall after this weekend, but for right now, I think I might have my next target. See, when I came into this company, we were entering what some people here are calling a new Ambition Era.
Tacitus: My second match in this company, I took Chris Greene to the absolute limit at Ambition Halloween Hell, and then I sort of lost the plot. Got mixed up with Elliot Parker and his culty nonsense, and then there was that little affair with C-Note...
Tacitus: If there's one thing that Nate has ingrained into me, it's that sometimes, basic is best. And I think it's time we got back to basics.
With that, Stacy turns back to the camera, clearly happy to have an interview that ISN'T full of hostility, attempted beatdowns, or other such chicanery.
Stacy: And with that, let's head back to the booth and get back to the show!
