SEASON 18 2023 INTRO HOOT!

LIVE FROM THE BARCLAYS CENTER

The camera pans to the announce team.

Ladies and Gentleman we are back on the scene! With RIOT 617!!

We are LIVE! FOR A MASSIVE SHOW!

John goes to the medical room with the hopes of being cleared to compete. He sits down on the table taking a deep breath as he waits for the doctor. He feels a hand on his hurt shoulder and he winces in pain.

John: AH fluffernutter! That’s my hurt arm be careful

As he says this he hears a woman giggling behind him. He turns his head to see who’s there only to find Emp with a pair of large round glasses that magnify her eyes to cartoon proportions and dressed up in a white docs coat. Emp smirks at him slightly as She pulls up a small stool next to him.

Emp: Hello… Jane Carter? I am Doctor Emp. I will be your doctor today checking if you are ready to be cleared for competition.

John: What! Where is the real Doctor?

Emp: Ma’am I assure you I am properly educated for this position. Now, let’s get a look at that bergina.

John: WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?! IT’S MY ARM THAT’S INJURED. THIS DOESN'T SEEM FAIR!

Emp: Ma’am..Ma’am…calm down. I assure you everything here is all fair. I am looking out for your best interest as an OCWFed competitor.

Emp grabs John's hurt arm and yanks it straight up causing John to scream loudly. Emp lets go of his arm which John immediately grabs.

Emp: Interesting…

Emp grabs out a medical chart clipboard and flips a couple pages. She looks over at John then back at the clipboard and dramatically writes some information down while making overly exaggerated facial expressions.

John: What the hell is wrong with you! You’re making it worse.

Emp: Worst? Or Better? As you clearly seem to be able to move your arm around. Based on my extensive examination. I am clearing you to compete in your match against the Perfect Storm tonight.

John: You aren’t even a doctor! You can’t do that!

Emp smacks his shoulder as hard as she can, causing John to scream again.

Emp: I can and I just did.

John: Leave me alone. This shouldn’t be happening.

Emp: For a wrestler you really seem like you don’t want to wrestle. Maybe I should just fire you since you clearly don’t want to do your job.

John: No no no! I’ll go wrestle tonight. Please, I need this job.

Emp: That's more like it Jane! Get out there and show that world the power of women! But first!

Emp scribbles some information down on a sheet of paper and hands it to John.

Emp: We have a little matter of my Bill.

John: What is this!?

John looks down at the paper and clutches his heart in pain at the massive amount of zero’s on the bill.

Emp: WE HAVE A CODE BLUE!

Emp grabs some Defibrillator paddles and races toward John as the camera fades to black.

PERFECT STORM

We cut to Palkha Aadne in the OCW locker room, pacing with his cell phone up to his ear. The usually stoic demeanor that we've become accustomed to is replaced by a concerned look.

Palkha: Чи надтай сүүлчийн удаа уулзахыг зөвшөөрөх хэрэгтэй. би-

He is cut off by a voice on the phone

Palkha pulls the phone from his ear despite the other party clearly not being done with the phone call. He hangs up the phone and tosses it onto the nearby bench.

Palkha: SON OF A BITCH! энэ залхуу эмч нарыг новш.

Palkha graps a notepad off the table and begins to scribble furiously. He finishes the note and walks out of the locker room but not before grabbing his briefcase and duffle bag.

PREVIOUSLY RECORDED

We open up at the Server Farm. Perl is seen working kicks and punches on a heavy bag. With every kick and punch she lets out a loud scream. Perl looks down at her watch and sees a new notification.

Perl stops and walks over to the other side of the room. She finds a towel and wipes the sweat off of her brow. She tosses the towel into the nearby laundry hamper and retrieves her phone that is sitting nearby.

Perl unlocks her phone and happens upon a text message from Mad Dawg Davis. The text is illegible and Perl cannot decipher what he is trying to say.

Perl: That drunk Dawg must be out on the prowl again. Drunk texting everyone in his contact list. It’s only 11 AM…

Perl sends BASH a text message expressing concern about Mad Dawg and his mental state. She shakes her head as she hits send on the message. Perl places her phone on the ground and begins doing stretching exercises.

Perl: All these girls should be scared, once I am done training the OCW women’s division will never be the same. I am committed to taking down the best.

Perl: Doesn’t matter who it is, TOG, Deborah, Sue or any other of the ragamuffin crew. All these bitches will see who the real crown jewel is. It isn’t diamonds, but Perls that shine the brightest.

Perl picks her phone back up and dials the number to OCW headquarters. The phone rings and a female voice answers on the other end.

??: Good morning OCW headquarters, this is Stacy speaking. How can I direct your call?

Perl: I need to talk to Mr. Sensation. His newest star is on the line.

Stacy: You really don’t sound like Belle.

Perl upon hearing that becomes enraged and begins screaming at Stacy on the other end of the line.

Perl: YOU THINK I SOUND LIKE THAT 2 DOLLAR HO?

Stacy is confused on the other end of the line; she holds the phone up and covers it before looking over at Jim Black.

Stacy: I am not sure who you are, I really do apologize.

Perl: Perl is the name, and don’t you ever forget it honey. Tell the boss when he is ready to up the ante in the Women’s division to give me a call.

Perl hangs up the phone and begins thinking out loud.

Perl: I won’t take anymore disrespect, the entire OCW roster is going to know the name Perl in due time.

Perl walks over to the bathroom to get cleaned up. The scene fades away as she enters the bathroom.

ROUND 2 - RIOT BLOCK

HIFUMI MAYOSHI vs. BELLE

”Not On The Sidelines” plays as Viktor Karmine steps through the curtain to greet Madison Square Garden!

The cameras spot a “#Karmine4NA” sign with a childlike drawing of the champion on the front. As he passes the front of the ring and takes in the applause from the RIOT crowd, he points to the sign and gives it a thumbs up before entering the ring and holding the North American Championship high in the air and collecting a microphone.

Karmine: New York!!

Karmine takes another wide look around the arena as the usual introduction of the city gets scattered cheers from the regulars here for RIOT.

Karmine: After the last two weeks, I’m not here for any more cryptic messages. I’m done with the star-six-seven. I’m done with hiding our voices. It’s time we grow up and face our challenges like adults.

Karmine: I’d be willing to bet each and every person in this building has faced challenges much greater than I am facing right now.

The champion paces around the ring with his finger pointed to the crowd.

Karmine: …So now it’s my turn to face mine head-on. Not only for me, but to best represent this North American champion the only way I know how.

Karmine: Once I saw Empress was just handing out random title shots, I found her myself and asked for an open challenge on next week’s Turmoil.

Karmine: But this isn’t any normal “open” challenge, no. As willing as I am to fight anyone who’s willing to fight me, I want one person and one person only next week.

Karmine: The person who’s clearly after the workhorse championship…

Karmine: The person who’s behind all these extra mindgames…

Karmine: Didn’t you listen to me? I said 2 weeks ago… “If you want a shot at the North American Championship… All you gotta do is ask.”

Karmine: I refuse to let you jerk this title around for another week. I AM the champion. I have EARNED the right to hold this title match on MY time. Not yours.

Karmine: And that’s why on Turmoil 312, I’m coming out here to open the show with this title, with my gear… and with a Question Mark Elbow to be delivered directly to you, whoever you are.

Karmine: I’m going to turn your lights out next week! I’m going to do it for me, for this championship, for every champion that’s held it before…

Karmine pauses for a second, turning his gaze away from the championship swinging slowly from his left hand… Towards the people inside Madison Square Garden.

Karmine: I’m going to do it for every champion sitting in these seats who make it possible for me to be in this situation to begin with.

Karmine’s smile fades slightly as he turns back to the cameraman in the ring, approaching slowly and seriously to stare directly into the camera lens.

Karmine: I’m going to do it for everyone here in OCW that’s given me the chance to have some of the most fun I’ve ever had.

Karmine: For fans of “The Who”. For fans of “Cutlass”. For fans of “Pandora”. For the doubters, the haters, the bad attitudes, for EVERYONE!

Karmine: Because I love OCW. And right now, this is what I need and this is what OCW needs.

The champion slams the mic on the mat as the crowd stands to cheer him. His theme hits the PA system one more time as he holds the title high in the air and slaps the hands of as many fans as he can on his way up the ramp.

It is official. Next week on Turmoil 312… Viktor Karmine has challenged his mysterious follower to a North American Championship match!
