SEASON 19 2024 INTRO HOOT!

LIVE FROM MADISON SQUARE GARDEN

The camera pans to the announce team.

Ladies and Gentleman we are back on the scene! With RIOT 625!!

We are on the road 2 Summercide!

A soft knock can be heard on the door of OCW General Manager, Tiberius Octativan Dupree. To Jim Black’s amazement, Dupree opens the door himself. As the door swings open, Dupree’s hair catches the lighting just perfectly, Jim stands in awe.

Dupree: Just the man I was looking for.

Jim Black: Really?!

Dupree: No, not really, just anyone with a camera and mic. That just happens to be you.

Jim Black looks more deflated than Ashley Blaine’s backside but remains professional.

Dupree: Cheer up Jimbo, I have something to announce for tonight, and you’ll be the first to hear it.

Jim Black: Is it about the main event? Did you see what Rust Cohle said?!

Dupree: Goddamn it, yes it’s the main event. Wait what about Rust Cohle?

Jim Black: Well he....

Dupree: Nevermind!

Dupree: I want to do something special for Summe...…for tonight. Something different. So after browsing the interwebs, it was simple: people want to see Valkyrie and Perl.

Jim Black: But…

Dupree: But I can’t give them that tonight can I? Mr. Sensation would skin me alive and feed my bones to his rabid wife. But what if I give them choose partners and have us an old-fashioned tag match?!

The odor reaches them before the person does. Wrex steps into the scene rudely interrupting the Riot GM.

Wrex: Yeah I’m Perl’s partner.

Jim Black looks at Tibby then back at Wrex, then back at Tibby then back at Wrex.

Dupree: I just made the match, I haven’t even…

Wrex: Yeah I know, I’m taggin’ with Perl. You know who I want.

The deadpan stare from Wrex only annoys Tibby into submission.

Dupree: Fine, whatever that works. Perl & Wrex vs. Valkyrie and…and…H20! Now if you’d excuse me!

Jim Black: But Mr.Dupre....

Dupree immediately slides back into his office like a fox, you can hear him locking a series of deadbolt locks on the door. Wrex just stares at Jim Black like he has lunch money to steal as the camera pans to an unlikely figure.

Wrex:
Well well well if it isn't.

????: I don't remember you being so..... (Motions his hands up and down to signify fat).

OCW CEO Our Hero comes into frame!

Wrex's eyes narrow.

Wrex: Not Smart...

Our Hero: Of course not because I am a stable Genius...Any Way this isn't about my stunning brilliance or your massive heft. JIM I couldn't help but notice you condundrum, chum!

Jim Black: Thank you, so whats going to happen tonight boss?

Our Hero: Two Words

Our Hero: DOUBLE MAIN EVENT!

Wrex: That's 3 Words....

Our Hero:
And you're still fat!

Jim chuckles as Wrex stands there unamused while Our Hero, Mr.Sensation saunters off to go call his wife!

ROOKIE DEBUT
JUNKO JIROTTA vs. SKADI

The locker room was thick with tension, the air heavy with unspoken words and shared history. Paul Harris, a ring veteran new to the OCW, leaned against a locker, his arms folded tightly across his chest. His eyes, sharp and penetrating, were fixed on Anthony Martin, who was meticulously taping his wrists.

PH:
Listen, A-Mart…

Paul began, his voice carrying a sharp edge.

PH: If you want to stand a chance against RyVaughn tonight, you need to remember what worked for me at Turmoil 317.

Anthony's eyes flicked up, irritation evident in the set of his jaw.

A-Mart: I know, Paul.

Paul's eyes narrowed.

PH: Then you should be able to recite it in your sleep. Don’t let RyVaughn get comfortable. Attack from every angle, make him guess where you’ll strike next. Keep him on his toes.

Anthony’s hands stilled, the tape half-wrapped around his wrist.

A-Mart: I got it. Don’t give him a moment's rest.

Paul pushed off the locker, stepping closer.

PH: And daze him. Get in a few good hits before you try to end the match. If he's off balance, he won’t know where to protect and you can surprise him.

Anthony's eyes flashed with frustration.

A-Mart: I know what I’m doing, Paul. You don’t need to talk to me like I’m some fresh off-the-boat rookie.

PH:Don’t take that tone with me. I’m not talking to you like anything, I’m giving you the benefit of my experience.

A-Mart: You’re acting like I didn’t pin RyVaughn’s shoulders to the match three Riot’s ago when we defeated Mass Effect.

PH:Maybe he let you…

A-Mart: What?

PH: Yeah, maybe this is all part of some elaborate scheme where he lets you pin him to make me think we’re a tag team with a future when you’re planning to stab me in the back, to get the band back together with Mass Effect and help them retain their tag titles.

Anthony shot to his feet, eyes blazing.

A-Mart:And you believe him? You think I’d betray you?

Paul’s contemptuous glare didn’t waver.

PH:I don’t know, A-Mart. Would you? You haven’t exactly been treating me like an equal.

The two men stood in tense silence, the animosity crackling like electricity between them. Finally, Anthony broke the silence, his voice low and strained.

A-Mart:You really think I’d fall for Mass Effect’s mind games? They’re trying to get in our heads, Paul. Trying to turn us against each other.

Paul’s eyes softened, if only slightly, as he considered Anthony’s words.

PH: Maybe. But I’ve been around long enough to know that where there’s smoke, there’s usually fire.

Anthony shook his head, the anger giving way to a weary resolve.

A-Mart:This is exactly what they want. To make us doubt each other. To make us question our loyalty.

Paul sighed, running a hand through his hair.

PH: Yeah, maybe you're right. They did say on Turmoil they didn’t think we were a legitimate team.

Anthony stepped closer, his eyes locking onto Paul’s.

A-Mart: So, are we going to let them mess with us, or are we going to show them we’re stronger than their mind games?

Paul stared at Anthony for a long moment before nodding slowly.

PH: We show them. We stick to the plan. Don’t let RyVaughn get comfortable. Attack from everywhere, make him guess. And most importantly, daze him before you go for the win.

Anthony nodded, a hint of a smile touching his lips.

A-Mart: Alright. Let’s go remind them who they're dealing with.

As they prepared to leave the locker room, a lingering doubt hung in the air, unspoken but palpable. Had Mass Effect already succeeded in planting the seeds of distrust between them? Only time would tell, but for now, A-Mart had a match to win.
