We find ourselves outside Terra’s home, the repurposed diner that sits across from the pond as she is preparing to leave. Her friends and patrons, who are wearing brightly colored clothing exit and hug her, some kissing her on the cheek in farewell. Terra follows them to the door, bidding them adieu with a friendly wave.
Terra:Vale, everyone!
She smiles to herself, even giving a self hug, feeling great about what she has done for the environment today. The planetarian admires her work as the very last person departs.
Terra: Excellent!
Turning back inside, she makes her way through a curtain and begins cleaning up around the padded meditation areas, where diner tables once sat.
The door can be heard opening and she looks up sharply from what she was doing, a little spooked. She pipes up a bit, looking towards the curtain that hides the main area.
Terra: Oh! Did someone forget something?...
Hearing no response, she assumes that it is perhaps the Silent Queen, her best friend, Dragana Cesar.
Terra:Salve? Dragana? Is that you?
She again gets no answer and goes back into the main area just as she gets a phone call. A colorful tune begins to play from her older, specialized looking cell phone... echoing in the silence. She gives a quick glance and we catch an “A” on the caller ID. As she presses her thumb on the phone, she pushes the curtain aside, revealing the main area.
Her eyes return to the diner and she freezes, the phone clattering to the floor. In the room with her is a masked and hooded figure, it's impossible to make out any distinguishing features, even if they're male or female.
Terra doesn't move just yet, caught like a rabbit in the headlights as the figure circles towards her with a haunting grace. Now within touching distance Terra finally snaps out of it and tries to react, making a break for the back window.
She doesn't get far, the figure grabbing her hair and yanking the poor woman down to the floor. She lands with a sickening thud, hands flailing and clasping at chairs, tables, anything to try and get back to her feet. Before she can even do that she finds herself being kicked around, furniture crashing down around her.
Moments later, the air is crushed from her lungs as a nearby dark wooden table is tipped over onto her chest, pinning her in place. Her phone begins to ring again, just agonisingly out of range. The masked figure stomps both feet on the center of the table, causing Terra to cry out in pain.
Crying and gasping for air, she reaches for the phone, only to have it kicked across the room by the assailant. Terra looks up at the masked person.
Terra:Quare?! Please… Stop!
Before she can continue, a swinging kick lands directly on the side of her head, knocking her out cold...
A loud smash signifies a window was the next target as the sound of glass falling to the ground accompanies the stranger out into the night. The phone stops ringing, a missed call ID from Aerith flashing on the screen. The screen zooms into Aerith’s picture on the phone… before it’s cut off by another face…
it rings once more, this time it's Dragana, but the Earth warrior is trapped and out cold. The scene zooms out to see the wreckage and the brutalized Earth Warrior unconscious, before fading to black.
Loki vs T.M.T.C. Joopiter
The camera fades into the backstage area where we see Justin Jehst brushing his curly, brown locks, using a stainless steel cabinet for a reflection.
He hums a rock-style tune and moves about to his own beat, although keeps himself steady enough to not muck up his grooming.
Leaning in to the reflection he double checks his hair, still humming, before letting out a few little head-nods on the heavy notes he hums.
He begins backing up from the cabinet, but is suddenly met with a solid object. The camera pans right to show he has bumped into Solomon Caine.
Solomon: Again? Really, Jehst?
Jehst brushes himself off.
Jehst: We have to stop meeting like this…Oh, and the deli’s that way.
He flicks his arm out to his left, extending his brush to point down the corridor. Moments later, he goes back to brushing, ignoring Caine, and begins to hum again before Solomon grabs him by the shoulder and flings him around to face him.
Justin is not impressed.
Jehst: If you wanna do the tango, we can throw down right now, man…
Solomon: I saw that little stunt you pulled on RIOT. This ain’t Hollywood anymore, Jehst. When we step into that ring tonight, I’m not pulling punches like your camera playtime.
Jehst: You wanna talk to me like a man, fine, but don’t you DARE put your hands on me and interrupt my brushing routine…You know these locks get me contracts!
Solomon: Your hair isn’t gonna save you from a Killshot…
Jehst: You’re not gonna get the chance to land one.
Solomon: We’ll see about that…
Solomon gives a look of intensity and determination before sauntering off camera, leaving Jehst to raise an eyebrow at his confidence. He then turns back to the silver cabinet and gets back into his performance grooming routine, making guitar sounds with his mouth as he bops to his tune. The scene then fades to black.
