The camera cuts to the back where we find Junko pacing back and forth to the point of almost wearing out the concrete floor. The video of her match against Perl from ambition replaying on the monitor placed atop small tv stand.

Junko suddenly stops for a moment as her eyes like on the monitor the moment the Perl rolls her up for the pin. Before the referee Greg is able to finish his 3 count the TV’s monitor is broken by an enraged Junko holding a bat.

Junko: Are refs here blind! How do they miss Junko’s tights getting pulled!? Everyone in the entire building can see Junko get robbed out of the match except The Greg!

Suddenly the door opens up and as someone walks in holding a cup of Matcha tea and holding an arm full of binders and papers while pulling a suitcase.

Assistant: Junko-Kun your Matcha Tea….

As the assistant walks into the room they look over at Junko, who is staring down at a broken monitor. The assistant lets out a slight sigh as they pull out of the binders.

They balance the binder in their arms while trying to hold on to the tea and noting down some information.

Assistant: ughhhh…Junko-Kun can’t keep destroying stuff…ocw doesn’t like it.

Junko: OUI! POM! …

Junko snaps her fingers.

Junko: TEA!

Pom Pom: Hai Hai! Sumimasen!

Pom races over and hands her the tea. Junko snatches the drink out of her hands and looks it over before taking a sip from it. Junk sits down on the bench and kicks her feet up while staring at Pom.

Junko: Hey…what’s Junko’s World Tour ratings?

Pom Pom: ehh…Isshun…

She breaks open a couple of the binders and places some papers with graphs on the tables.

Pom Pom: Ratings in Japan are still steady…but Junko-kun does not look great in the Americas..World tour is not working as originally planned. Numbers are lower than expect…

Junko: No! As originally you planned. Junko listens to you and this is not Junko’s plan. You fix it. Does Junko have to do everything herself around here?

Pom Pom: Hai…I’ll get it figured out

Junko: While at it.. Get Junko one of those Newer York Pizza everyone talks about.

Pom Pom: hai…

Pom Pom gives a quick bow and then picks up the binders, papers and runs off.

Junko: Junko surrounded by bakas.

ROOKIE BATTLE

PERL vs. BELLE

Anthony Martin leaned against the edge of the worn wooden bench in the locker room. His muscles, chiselled from years of rigorous training and countless matches, flexed involuntarily as his frustration mounted. He looked over at his tag team partner, Paul Harris, who stood in the corner.

A-Mart: Paul.

Anthony began, his voice carrying the authority of a seasoned veteran.

A-Mart: I spoke to Drago Cesar to confirm our title challenge defense at Summercide, but I couldn’t get a firm answer from him.

Paul glanced up, his blue eyes sharp and filled with a mixture of irritation and defiance.

PH: Maybe he’s just dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s.

Anthony’s jaw tightened.

A-Mart: We’re talking about the tag team championships here, Paul. This is our shot to prove we’re the best, and Mass Effect is just sitting on their asses, refusing to defend.

Paul looked over at A-Mart, looking him square in the eye.

PH: You know, if you miss Mass Effect so much, why don’t you just team up with them again?

His tone was laced with sarcasm, a clear indication of his growing resentment. Anthony’s eyes narrowed.

A-Mart: What’s that supposed to mean?

PH: It means…

Paul replied, stepping closer.

PH: I’m tired of you acting like I’m your sidekick. We’re supposed to be a team, Anthony, but you didn’t even wait for me at Turmoil 317 when you challenged Mass Effect. And now you’re telling me you went behind my back to Drago to ask for our title shot. Look, if you think Mass Effect is the answer to all your problems, maybe you should go crawling back to them.

Anthony took a deep breath, his fists clenching at his sides. He knew Paul had a point, even if he didn’t want to admit it. Anthony hadn’t been part of a tag team where he was an equal partner so at times he forgot that being part of a tag team meant sharing the load, and the respect.

A-Mart: Look, Paul.

Anthony said, his voice softer but still firm.

A-Mart: I get it. I do. We’re partners, and I need to start acting like it. But right now, we need to focus on getting that title match. We’ve worked too damn hard to let it slip away because of Mass Effect’s cowardice. And we need to be on the same page against John Carter and Blacksmith.

PH: First of all, you’re right you need to act like it. Second of all, I need some air. I'll see you out there.

Paul took another step, looking at Anthony in the eyes, before he changed path and made his way to the exit. The camera focused on Anthony looking upset at Paul’s leaving the locker room as it faded to black.
