OCWFED.com Presents TURMOIL

The scene opens with Ashley Moore in the locker room getting ready for her match with Aerith and Terra later.

Empress is seen making her way into the locker room and dropping her bag on the floor and swinging open her locker with aggression. She glares over at Ashley Moore before going back to getting ready.

Ashley Moore:
Still angry because from the restaurant? I really didn’t want to upset you there. Can we be a team today? A real team, not like the one I had to form with Valkyrie once?

Empress lets out a heavy sigh and closes her locker. She makes her way over to Ashley Moore.

Empress:
You were right I was out of line. That is no way to behave. If we want to beat Aerith and Terra we need to behave more like a team. I’ll be the first to say I’m sorry I got carried away.

And the scene ends with a hug between the two tag team partners to show they will hold together.

Previously Recorded

The scene opens in Flojo’s apartment. Valkyrie and Belle are waiting in the hallway, right at the apartment door.

Belle:
Why are we here, again?

Valkyrie: It's because we need to get on the same page before Road To Glory. Flojo might seem a little bit… weird, but in a good way. I'm sure you two will get along just fine.

As Valkyrie was about to finish her sentence, Flojo opens the door.

Flojo:
Hi

Belle: Hello.

Valkyrie: Hey.

There's an awkward minute of silence as nobody knows what to say.

Valkyrie:
So, uhm… are you going to let us in or…?

Flojo: Sure. Take your shoes off though.

Flojo moves out of the door away as Belle and Valkyrie enter the apartment. The apartment is surprisingly well organize despite its anime and Japanese style furniture. 90s r&b can be heard playing throughout the apartment.

Valkyrie is particularly interested in Flojo's anime collection even though she is not exactly an expert.

Valkyrie:
Do you like cartoons too? I love them! I watch Disney movies every day!

Flojo shivers at the word “cartoons”.

Flojo:
They are not cartoons. It's Anime. But it's okay. Doesn't bother me like most stereotypical weebs.

Flojo: Now I don't have a particular favorite anime but this one right here…

FloJo picks up a bluray from her shelf

FloJo:
someone like y'all would even enjoy. It's called sailor moon.

The trio finally sit on the couch in the living room. Valkyrie notices a concerned look on Belle’s face.

Valkyrie:
What's wrong?

Belle: I'm worried. Our Hero said that if we lose the match you won't be getting your job back. You were kinda my mentor ever since I joined. OCW wouldn't be the same without you.

Valkyrie: Don't even say it! We are going to win. A clean sweep! Guaranteed.

Valkyrie doesn't look like she believes in her words. She's rather trying to stay positive to keep her team’s morale high

Valkyrie:
Don't think about it too much. Even if we lose and I get fired again, I will be happy. There are so many things I can do outside of wrestling. I can… uhm…

Valkyrie: Go back to Finland with my parents and work in my mom’s pet store again, for example. It's not as exciting as wrestling but I could make it work. Besides, it's just me. Not you two. So just fight like you always do and don't worry.

Flojo: I made some sweet tea and brought some Japanese cheesecake. Here. I promise you won't get fat.

The scene fades as the three are chatting about nonsense while sipping tea in Flojo's living room.

The scene opens in the backstage area of Turmoil where we see Justin Jehst in his pinstripe suit walking the corridors, approaching staffers as he goes.

Jehst: Hey Pete, you seen Elsa around?

Pete (Staff): No, sorry, Jehst.

He moves to the next.

Jehst: Jessica, you know if Elsa’s about?

Jessica (Staff): I'm sorry Mr. Jehst, I haven't seen her around.

Again he continues to ask the next available staff member.

Jehst: Greg, you wouldn't know if Elsa’s here tonight would you?

Greg (Staff): I'm sorry man, haven't seen her.

Jehst's frustration begins to boil to the surface but he manages to maintain his composure as he makes his way through the many staffers on site tonight.

An alarm on his phone goes off.

Jehst: Dammit, I've got a video conference call in twenty minutes. Guess I'll pick this man-hunt up later.

Justin dials a number into his phone.

Jehst: Samuel, bring the car round the back, I've got a video call. I'll meet you in five.

He hangs up and begins walking towards the car park area as the scene fades to black.

The Camera Pans To The X-Tron

The outside of the curtain can be seen clearly, as the Turmoil theme fades out, coming back from commercial. Bobbing her head with joy, Terra Daturas is awaiting her first match in a long time.

Woman’s Voice: Terra? Terra Daturas?

Terra, with a great big smile on her face, turns to see the source of the voice. It is the woman she’s going to be teaming with tonight… Aerith.

Terra: Oh! Yes. Muem nōmen Terra Daturas est. You must be Ms. Trance!

Aerith smiles back.

Aerith: Yeah, that’s me. My Latin Isn’t very good, but you’re Terra Daturas, I’ve seen your work, you do a lot of it. Hopefully tonight it all pays off for you.

Terra: I greatly appreciate that Ms. Trance!

Aerith reaches down and picks up one of her #PactsAreForever t-shirts and holds it out to Terra with a smile.

Aerith:
I hope it’s not too late for the match… Do you wanna swap shirts?

Without a word, Terra quickly and frantically claps her hands together in front of her face, dipping into her bag and rummages around, mumbling to herself as she does. Before long, she produces a #ShowLove shirt and does indeed swap with Aerith

Terra:
I hope that fits! Your body is a bit smaller than mine.

Aerith chuckles to herself and pulls it on, it’s a little baggy for the most part but it seems to fit.

Aerith tosses a thumbs up and the two ladies laugh together.

Ashley Moore: Look, Kumiko, our opponents for the match tonight.

Ashley Moore and Empress interrupt the meeting of Terra and Aerith, who have turned their attention.

Empress: Nice shirts! Maybe they should read Baka 1 and Baka 2.

Terra clears her throat and walks over to her opponents with her left hand extended, right hand behind her back.

Terra:
Nice to meet you. Kon'nichiwa, Ms. Empress. I am hoping we can -

Empress scoffs at the greeting slapping Terra’s hand away and looks Terra up and down.

Empress: I wish I can say the same. But all I see is a dumbass with poison ivy on her head and the wife of a has-been wrestler that couldn’t get the job done when it counts.

Empress: Ashley... Wanna know how to say “dumb bitch”” in Latin?... Aerith.

Empress stares deep into Terra’s eyes giving a slight grin.

Empress: You want to speak Japanese I’ll teach you Japanese. Watashi wa anata no meinu o korosu tsumoridesu. Google translate that, Yariman!

Empress shoves her way past Terra and heads to the curtain.

Before following her Ashley turns to the two.

Ashley Moore:
She gets angry easily, don’t take it too seriously. She sees a Flojo in everyone and thinks they want something bad for her.

Ashley Moore: I know you two are not as bad as Valkyrie is and eventually also you, Terra, will see how manipulative she is.

Ashley Moore: But before, I am sorry to say… You two will be suffering a humiliating defeat in a few minutes.

She winks at them with a smile and heads to Empress so that they can make their entrance together.

Aerith: Wow. Can you believe that?

Terra: It is quite okay, Ms. Trance. Her heart knows no other way to defend herself.

Terra: I understand quite well.

Terra smiles at her tag-team partner for the evening.

Terra: We shall not dwell on how others may protect their inner insecurities. We must only focus on having a strong, loving competition inside the ring. Are you with me?

Aerith smiles back, unable to resist the contagious joy. She nods her head.

Terra slides on her new T-shirt given to her by Aerith and embraces Aerith in one of her signature hugs. As the music of Empress and Ashley fades. The two lock hands and walk outside the curtain.

It's a Match!
ASHLEY MOORE & EMPRESS
vs
TERRA DATURAS & AERITH

The screen fades in and you see Danny Watts with his head down, just sitting there on a couch in his dorm room, not speaking, barely moving. For about a minute he just sits there, but finally sits up, and looks at the camera.

Danny Watts: Last turmoil...you saw a different side of me. Yes, I’m serious when I’m backstage, yes, I’m serious when I’m in the ring.

Danny Watts: You were supposed to see a more relaxing, fun, laid back kind of guy, you were supposed to see the best part of me. But, you didn’t see that. You saw the worst side of me. The hotheadedness, the aggressive, the brutal side of me.

Danny Watts: I didn’t want you to see that side of me yet, if ever. Yes, I’m aggressive in the ring.

Danny Watts: I’m aggressive in the ring because in this business are completely trained professionals.

Danny Watts: People who can take a beating. The guy who I gave a concussion to, who I knocked out cold, he was nothing but a drunk, young adult.

Danny puts his head down in shame.

Danny Watts: I have a temper, I very short temper. People usually don’t see that side of me unless I’m being provoked by someone. Yes, he provoked me.

Danny Watts: Yes, he upset me. But I never should have handled it the way I did.

Danny puts his head up again with a serious look on his face.

Danny Watts: I would personally like to apologize to the people in the back. The wrestlers, the staff, everyone. I’m sorry.

The scene fades out with Danny putting his head down in shame.
