It’s a sunny day in midtown Manhattan. The people are heading to the subway or grabbing a taxi. The scene opens in The Andrews Diner as “The Threat Hunter” Cody Hagen enters. He looks around to grab a seat to eat some breakfast and relax after spending days in the hospital.
Cody: I’m to enjoy some delicious breakfast and morning coffee. I do hope Heather is doing alright by herself. Maybe I’ll grab her a drink to go and bring it to her at the hospital when I'm finished eating.
Hagen is waiting patiently for a waitress so he looks up on his phone to look at some OCWFED news. He sees two promos from Turmoil that have Hagen's interest. Both of those promos were Kassidy Hayes and H2O.
Cody: Patience is key and a virtue. Hopefully I can get a table and enjoy breakfast and watch the two promos. Maybe they’re busy with other customers which is alright and fair.
A waitress shows up and escorts Mr Hagen to his table. Cody looks up the menu and he watches the Kassidy Promo first and Hagen chuckles and then watches the H2O promo.
Cody: Kass thinking about The Silent Queen and getting angry as both of them leave. Then the Perfect Storm baited DOC into an ambush. Dammit!
Cody: …What Quartz said about Heather, saying she was gullible. That will not stand!
Cody: But seeing both H2O and Kass not care about Heather makes me sad and it's a shame. She did give so much to both of them back in Kasstianity. I'm going to get Heather Angelo back if it's the last thing I'll freaking do.
A waitress comes to Hagen's table and asks for his order but notices Cody is busy on his phone.
Waitress: Excuse me, sir? Sir? Are you ready to order?
The waitress interrupts his concentration.
Cody: I’m sorry, Ms. I was deep in my thoughts. I’d like a mushroom omelet and a chocolate croissant please. A snapple as well, Mango Madness. Make that two of those.
Waitress: Certainly.
She goes to the back as Hagen watches TV up on the wall.
Cody: Man I enjoyed taking time off to take care of Heather. I wish I did this back then when I watched her while I was in the independence league. I saw her having trouble with H2O back THEN! She sided with..with that guy that got booted out of OCW.
Cody: But I was only 21 and just started my wrestling career. I wasn’t in position to do so. Since 2017 and throughout the years I suffered injuries that put me in the trainer's room or in the hospital.
Cody: I don’t think any of that was worth it because I still have scars on my eye and chest and arms and my back had two second degree burns. My right knee dislocated and had to get relocated and had to wear a knee brace for a month and had 179 staples or stitches cause I've bled plenty.
The waitress brings him his food and his drink.
Waitress: Hope you enjoy your food!
Cody: Thanks.
The waitress leaves as Hagen eats his breakfast.
Cody: Man, the omelet is delicious and so is the chocolate croissant. Maybe I'll come back here with Heather when she gets healed up.
Cody's thoughts about everything subsides as he enjoys his food.
As he finishes it up, he leaves a tip for the waitress. He grabs the Mango Snapple and heads back to the hospital.
