H2O leaves Dupree’s office to head towards The Inception’s locker room. Harvey stops to look at the tube lights flicker. They flicker again a few more times.
Once they all stop Harvey comes to a realization that he is not alone. He looks down one side of the hallway, nothing. He turns his head to the right and looks down the other side of the hallway, nothing.
He leans back against the wall amd folds his arms.
H2O: How long have you been following me, Heather?
You can hear the clicking of high heels come down the hallway. From the side, Heather Angelo comes into frame and stands directly in front of Harvey.
Harvey looks down and for once doesn’t look distracted by Heather's presence. She places her hand over his heart and leaned her head right underneath his chin and rest it on his chest.
Heather: You don’t call. You don’t write. No text. No nothing, Mi Amor?
H2O: Heather, I did enough for you despite all the pain and heartache you put me through. Please, if this is another one of your games then I’m sorry. I don’t have time for that.
H2O bounces off the wall and walks away. Heather gets caught off guard and runs up to catch up with him.
Heather: Wait! I’m sorry Papito. I didn’t come to you for a fight. I came here to say thank you.
H2O raises an eyebrow and places his hand on his chin.
Heather: Yes, babe. I came to say thank you. I’ve been watching you for awhile now since I left the asylum and I noticed that our lives are completely parallel.
Heather: We both had these inner demons we’ve been battling. I had doctors that helped me and you did...some...kind of….meditation that connected you with your future being!
Heather: Now look at us. Both of us healed after winning the battle within ourselves and back together stronger than we ever were before.
Heather grabs Harvey’s hand and kisses his hand sensually. Harvey closes his eyes and pulls his hand away.
Heather: What did you do?
H2O is bewildered by her behavior.
H2O: What are you talking about?
Heather: When you closed your eyes you shut me out. Was that mediation? Please tell me how’d you do that Papi! Please!!!!
H2O backs away to gain some space between her psychotic ex.
H2O: Shouldn’t you be somewhere getting ready to fight Flojo?
Heather: Yes, but I’ll go as soon as you tell me how you meditate. I think that is missing in my therapy sessions and it can put me on the same path as you, Harvey.
H2O is now very active and informed. More now than he has been lately. H2O squints his eyes at Heather knowing she wants to get in the mind of Dragana just a couple weeks ago.
H2O: No Heather. You’re doing fine as you are. Feel free to stay and watch the show or catch the next flight to El Paso, Texas to prepare for Savage Saturday.
H2O: Until then, buenas noches, mami. I have my own problems to deal with.
H2O leaves without even giving her a kiss on the cheek. Heather realizes the days of playing control over with her ex are far over.
Heather growls as her voice echoes throughout the hallway. Her breathing becomes rapid causing her to lose balance. She catches herself against the wall as she holds her chest and closes her eyes.
Heather: No. Pl...plea...please don’t! Not now Furiosa.
Heather can feel her heartbeat slow down and her rapid breathing subsides.
Heather: Is...that...how it works?!
Heather begins to smile, then chuckle and then bursts to her unforgettably dark laughter.
Heather: Thank you so much Harvey. You always figure out a way to help me.
Scene fades.
No Holds Barred
PAUL PUGH vs WREX
The scene transitions to Drago Cesar standing in the middle of the ring with a mic in hand, wearing his usual Drago Mac getup. Drago holds his free hand out to the crowd.
Drago: Last week on Riot, I stood face to face with Goat. I know he probably wanted to fight Tiberius Dupree again, but I’m know what he really want. And I’m know what I’m want. So I issue challenge for him.
Drago: Drago Cesar vs. Nate Ortiz II at Summercide! The Best vs. The Greatest! The Bubba That Runs The Hubba and The Franchize go at it one more time!
Drago scratches his head.
Drago: But he didn’t give me response yet. Matter of fact, before this show I’m call him and text him many time, leave very many message. But I’m don’t think he came back to me. So now here I stand again waiting for proper response. Nate Ortiz! I know you back there somewhere! Come out and give these people what they want!
The lights go out and the crash of thunder hits the PA system. As the Wolf appears on screen the light go on and Nate Ortiz stands behind Drago with a chair in hand. It looks as if he is going to hit the Hall of Famer, he even teases it before sitting down behind him.
Drago turns around a bit surprised and lets out a laugh. A crew member tosses Nate a mic.
Nate: You called, I’m her old friend. Excuse me taking a seat but there are a whole lot of tread on these tires. Only unlike a car I can just go get a new set.
Nate: Riot was a moment, wasn’t it? It was as electric as it was that night in Tokyo.
Nate: As much as I wanted to just say yes the other night, I had to think about it. And I’m not going to lie there is that part of me that’s been eating away at me all these years later. What if that man didn’t stay right in my path.
Nate:
What if I was still champion that night. What if you didn’t hang up your boots that Summer when the stars had lined up for us to face off one more time.
Nate: Well I guess we don’t have to ask what if anymore. Summercide 2019 I answer that question.
The crowd erupts in response to Nate accepting the challenge. Drago jumps up in joy and shuffles around the ring.
Drago: YES! Man, last time before we face off, we hated each other. And we may have said and done some not so nice thing along way to Wrestlution….
Drago: Like when Versus went….”missing”. Revolution Inc. was torn apart by some cheating ****************.
The last phrase was simply too much for the TV audience to bear. Drago looks at the hard camera and mouths a “sorry”.
Drago: When I’m uppercut your love and…..you Spear my lion……And you kind of call me a joke that one time right before Wrestlution…..
Drago sneaks up to the cameraman and snickers like a child pulling a prank. Nate’s face remains pensive as Drago reminisces further.
Drago: But all in all, I’m glad we put everything behind us. No more hurting other people and animal we love, and no more dividing faction. It’s just you and me. Two guys who paved the way for this company. The way it should be.
Nate nods his head and smiles at Drago, but as he turns toward the crowd you can see a quick snare on his face.
Nate: I have a lot of worn tread on these tires from paving this road when it was nothing but dirt and gravel. You’ve done a damn good job of keeping things steady. But you know all roads lead back to me. I’m going to have to take it at Summercide Drago. I need this one and I’m going to do whatever I have to in order to get it.
Nate and Drago shake hands as the clash of the titans is set for August. The camera cuts to a video hyping Summercide.
