THE LAST BLACKSMITH
The crowd sits in anticipation after the previous match has concluded. Suddenly, their attention is quickly turned to the right of the Tron. A huge pirate ship has started "sailing" into the arena. Twenty stage hands push or pull to help make this happen, but they are dressed and black and underappreciated.
At the top of the ship on the mast is Nathan Carter, dressed in full pirate captain garb with crotch-less chaps! He waves to the audience before descending down the ladder as the ship comes to a halt, careful to not let the audience or cameras see that it's only half a ship.
On the deck awaiting to help Nathan down, are about 15 men and women dressed similarly to Nathan. They carry him to the side of the ship facing the entrance ramp and place him next to a plank hanging over. Nathan starts to balance on it.
He turns around to look at his crew while standing on one leg. In unison, they all swing their hips opposite Nathan, then toward him. The "force" of this causes Nathan to launch off the plank and land ten feet below, with so much grace a woman in that section goes into labor and needs to be escorted out! Her husband doesn't leave, he's too infatuated with Nathan, who is now pointing at him and shouting!
Nathan: Don't worry about her, tonight you belong to me!
Dude: YAAAAAAAS!
The crew watch and dance to pirate shanties as Nathan enters the ring. He motions for a microphone and awaits his request. He takes perhaps a little too long taking in the audience's reception. Finally, a microphone arrives...
Nathan Carter: (motioning toward the ship) Give it up for my first mate! And my second mate! And my third, fourth...ahhh you get it! It feels damn good to be back in this ring and back in front of all of you...
The audience cheers!
Nathan Carter: And behind you...
They cheer even louder!
Nathan Carter: And on top of you, and under you....OH! And a little on the side, babay!
They erupt! Nathan holds the mic down by his side and wets his lips.
Nathan Carter: There are three things I'd like to address tonight, let's start with where I was.
The crowd quiets down in anticipation, Nathan doesn't make them wait very long.
Nathan Carter: I was studying abroad. Actually, quite a few.
The crowd chuckles while Nathan starts to pace.
Nathan Carter: Jokes aside, I had another career to test my hand at for awhile, and after my shoulder surgery from carrying Ragnarok for so long, I needed to heal.
The crowd boos at the mention of Ragnarok.
Nathan Carter: No, no that's okay. I hear there's a new litter of pups running around here with my old bitch; Trey Golden. I'm sure we'll be seeing each other sometime soon, old friend.
Nathan Carter: The second thing I would like to address is that, while accused of cheating in my match with Baker, I'm still undefeated this season!
The crowd laughs at first, but then boos.
Nathan Carter: And the third thing I would like to address is why I came back.
They cheer again!
Nathan Carter: Because it's time someone made the entirety of OCW their bitch! And I will be that deviant messiah. You will all notice my sin-pie!!!
The sounds of cannon fire blast from the PA system near the ship. Nathan freaks out!
Nathan Carter: ARGG, MATEYYY'S!!! That's my cue! Gotta go try out my new peg leg!
Nathan heads to the ship as we fade to black.
