Dragana hobbles through the curtain and begins the trek from the gorilla position to the backstage hallway. As she’s walking through, the sounds of applause and cheers emanate from the staff and wrestlers in attendance.
As soon as she makes it backstage, she collapses on all fours, struggling to catch her breath. EMP and Ashley Moore quickly get behind her and help her up to her feet, guiding her to a nearby crate. The group all have a seat and Dragana immediately buries her face in her hands, sobbing. Ashley places her hand on Dragana’s shoulder.
Ashley Moore: I should’ve known she would appear and….
EMP: Who gives a shit what La Hamburglar did.
The Silent Queen lifts her head up, letting out a laugh.
EMP: We already knew that this wasn’t about the Women’s Championship. This was about something bigger than any of us. Ashley, pull up the fundraiser.
Ashley gets her phone and pulls up a screen that shows the numbers of the fundraiser; even after what just occurred, the numbers are still rising at a rapid rate and the charts on the screen are growing larger.
EMP: Look at how many people pitched in. That was all thanks to us. WE made a difference. That bitch can have the title. We have the satisfaction of knowing that we helped all the Macs, Bubbas, and every animal in between out there!
Dragana cracks a smile and nods. Ashley lets out a deep breath.
Ashley Moore: And what a match to show for it!
EMP looks at Dragana.
EMP: Damn right. You haven’t lost a step.
A flattered Dragana blushes. EMP walks over and hugs Dragana.
EMP: Our time in OCW might be over and we both might have lost but that doesn’t mean our friendship is over. And the night is still young so let's go eat!
EMP: Anyone that wasn’t in the Main Event has to pay.
Dragana and EMP both look over at Ashley with a smile.
Ashley: That’s not fair I did all the charity work!
The pair laugh as Ashley crosses her arms. A jovial Dragana pats her on the back.
EMP: Ready?
Dragana: Mmm.
EMP and Ashley help her off the crate, and the trio proceed down the hallway.
EMP: So what are we thinking of for food tonight?
Ashley Moore: Not sure what places are open this late….Does Blaine’s roadhouse serve vegan foods?
EMP: Can we even get there in time?
They all share a laugh to close out the show.
