A.C. Cobra is backstage walking around looking for his tag team partner Luke and the rest of the family. He turns the corner to find his opponents later tonight, Mugen and Matsuda warming up for the match down the hallway. He decides to walk towards their direction as he starts to taunt Matsuda.

Cobra: The fans last week didn't deserve to see our match. Just like you don't deserve that championship Matsuda.

The Strong Style Daigaku look at A.C Cobra who is now standing in front of them. Mugen and Matsuda look at each other and shrug their shoulders. They look back at Cobra and suddenly decide to start attacking him.

Matsuda: This is for last week!

Mugen: SUCKA!!!!!

The two continue stomping him out until other members of The Family finally find their family member being beaten down. Mugen and Matsuda back off from the situation as everyone tends to Cobra. The scene fades to black

*Cameras get a quick glimpse of Justin Raze backstage. Back from commercial break as voices can be heard from Raze's lockeroom. It appears he's talking to someone on the phone. He seems upset as he kicks over a small table inside the lockeroom out of frustration.*

Raze: You mean to tell me you're suspended, and banned from tonight's show? I thought you was booked against K.D? This isn't good news!

*Raze continues to talk as he walks away outside out hearing range. He begins to walk back closer as cameras begin to capture audio.*

Raze
: I don't know what to say, Valmont, but I will do my best in my match. I know... I can't... I can't help you sneak in or we both be in deep water. I can't...I know, but I can't risk it. I guess just find some other way, or... wait it out man. I can take care of this by myself tonight. I don't need you to take care of anything...I can do it... I'm ready...

*Raze gets confused as he seems to not like what he just heard in reply on the phone.*

Raze: What you mean.. I am ready... I can do this by myself! I don't need to do that to prove anything. I know.... yes I know I must listen. I know, Valmont... I'm student, you the teacher. BUT I can't do that tonight.. I won't make an example of Jookie Marley or anyone without a better reason. I can prove by example, and.... yes I understand, Vincent, but... hello? Hello, Val? Damnit!

*Apparently the phone call was ended early as Raze throws his phone against the wall in anger. Apparently Raze has something he must do, or not end up doing tonight. The cameras fade on a frustrated Justin Raze.*

The sound of tires squealing across concrete opens the scene as the camera pans out to the arena parking lot. Bobby Minio walks through at a brisk pace before approaching the driver side of a rental car. He fumbles with his keys, finally unlocking the door and slumping his heavy body into the seat.

He slams the door shut, and the camera creeps into a position to look over his shoulder. He sits for a long pause, not moving, not putting the keys into the ignition, not toying with a cellphone, nothing. Finally, his hands move to his chest as he leans forward onto the steering wheel. He lets out a pained sigh with a labored breath that weighs his chest down.

For the first time all night, he looks to be showing the wear and tear from the debut edition of Mic Drop TV. Seemingly unaware of the camera behind him, he begins punching the steering wheel rapidly and wildly with both fists. Knuckles catching the horn intermittently, the alarming mix of thuds and short ear screeching honks playing as the soundtrack for small explosion of frustration.

Something captures his attention as he finally snaps into stillness, before slowly glancing into the driver side mirror to see the camera man. He takes a moment to blatantly regain his composure before starting the car and cranking the stereo as loud as possible. The song does not matter, it’s just noise, static that serves as a back beat to the thoughts of being betrayed, victimized, embarrassed, and eventually, thoughts of revenge. He aggressively backs out of the parking spot with little regard for the camera toting voyeur, and speeds away to rest and prepare for the monumental task ahead at Summercide.

The scene and the sound of the car fade into the next segment.

Lexington Walker stands in the middle of the ring. Noticeably absent from his side are North American Champion Buffness and former champion Tobin Frost. The 5’ 5” promoter stands in a grey suit taking in the boos raining in from the crowd around him. He smiles taking in the rare boos that are often masked by his two clients.

Lex:
It’s nice to see you all too.

Lex smiles as he elicits more boos from the crowd the boos begin to subside a little as Lex clears his throat to begins to speak.

Lex:
I’ve spent the last week being asked the same questions over and over by fans. How can Buffness and Tobin be the best when they didn’t pull out the victory last week? The answer to that question is easy. Even the best don’t win every time. Did Michael Jordan ever go through a playoff undefeated? Did Joe Montana ever have a perfect season? Have the New York Yankees ever swept an entire playoff? The answer to all those questions is no. But like the greatness of the individuals and team that I mentioned Buffness and Tobin showed after the match why they are great. Outnumbered 2 to 1 they cleared the Family out of the ring and stood tall.

The crowd claps at this accomplishment.

Lex: The other question I’ve been getting from you all is, what was up with the both Buffness and Tobin grabbing for the OCW Championship at the end of the show? To answer that I say nothing was up with it. It’s no secret that both men want to be the top dog in this company. They’ve both been 3 short seconds away from holding it only to have it slip away from them. They are also both on the cusp of finally reaching the mountain top. Tobin as the number one contender and Buffness as The Future Investment winner.

Lex: As much as these two respect each other, they are still competing like they did when they were at each other’s throats. Last week was just some of that bleeding through. If I don’t say so myself, it is a testament to my greatness that you haven’t seen more of the competition between my two clients.

Lex smiles as boos rain down again.

Lex:
You can all thank me later for answering your burning questions. But I’m here tonight to let you know that my client Tobin Frost is not here tonight.

The crowd does not approve and lets Lex know it.

Lex: I’m sorry but my client has more important things to do than granting you his presence. He’s in Sacremento right now training to eviscerate Jacob Trance at Summercide. Tobin lives by the mantra of Blood, Sweat, Respect. At Summercide he will Arrive, Suplex, and leave OCW Champion.

Lex: All of you fans out there shedding a tear for Tobin can dry your eyes now because you do get to witness Buffness destroy some nobody. He shouldn’t even waste his time tonight, but Buffness is a man of the people. And for you he is going to show you why he is your North American Champion and the single greatest athlete on the Nike payroll. Get your popcorn now because some nobody. He shouldn’t even waste his time tonight, but Buffness is a man of the people. And for you he is going to show you why he is your North American Champion and the single greatest athlete on the Nike payroll. Get your popcorn now because you won’t be leaving seat when Buffness graces you with his presence.

Lex drops the mic and exits to the back.
