OCWFED.com Presents Riot

Later in the show we receive another message from the family, this time however it is delivered by Eli as opposed to Trance. It's an odd moment, Eli usually remaining silent. Next to him stands the stranger that showed up at Summercide with no rhyme or reason.

Eli: I have been granted this opportunity to speak to you all... To let you know that this world is set to burn... This place is set for change... The old gods must be squashed and erased from memory as requested by out Father, Jacob.

He pauses for a long while as if thinking.

Eli: For every soldier that falls, two shall take their place... As proven by Joab's arrival. The very good, Jacob Trance was impressed that I was able to convince my friend to leave the safety of Jacobs Falls and swap security for this plague ridden world.

Joab grins.

Eli: And now it begins... For the old gods must be purged... After all, they have other places to go... There are...

Joab makes a clicking sound with his tongue and speaks in a rattling voice

Joab: Other worlds than these.

At that, the pair wander away, behind them, perhaps deliberately are Vincent Valmont posters and Smythe Da Wonder posters, eerily with their heads cut out.

AC stands up as Trance walks over.

AC-Lord Trance about Sunday...

Trance signals for Cobra to sit down.

Trance- My boy sit down sit! We have bigger worries right now notice a difference in the family?

AC looks around and shrugs his shoulders.

Trance- My boy the young stud Luke. He was your partner you BRUNG him into the family and he up and left. You see Eli over there?

The camera zooms onto Eli standing along the wall.

Trance- He'll see to it that you make Luke pay however, whatever, whenever get it done! I want it done on The Family time.

AC stands up and gets close to Trance.

Trance- You was watching Summercide in the back right? You seen what happened to Tobin let Luke get out of your sights and the same happens to you.

Trance turns his back on AC and exits The Family locker room. Eli turns to AC and points his index finger to his wrist signaling time is running out.

The camera pans in on AC who has an blank look on his face.

I' being told the next segment was pre-recorded on the morning of Summercide via oCW videopodcast.

Wow, that's convenient.

---------------------------------

The screen opens to two men sitting on a hotel room couch. An “OCWFed.com” logo watermark sits in the bottom corner of the screen. One of the men, a wild haired young man in a button up, sits across from the One Man Revolution, Bobby Minio. Minio sits in his street clothes, a C4 t-shirt and jeans, with headphones resting lazily around the back of his neck. He looks calm. Focused, but calm.

Stephen Hailowe: Stephen Hailowe here with the OCWFed.com podcast! Coming to you the morning of the Summer’s biggest sporting event, OCW’s Summercide, I’m here to introduce a special addition to this week’s episode! That’s right, one half of the surviving C4, and three time, three time, THREE TIME Ex Division #1 contender, Bobby Minio!

With his focused demeanor fading for a moment, Minio laughs to himself at the introduction.

Bobby Minio: That’s right, three times, came up short each time. That was a different time in my career.

Stephen Hailowe: Well let’s talk about that briefly, since you’ve joined the OCW, your career has had a number of ups and downs, but you seem to have steadily climbed the ladder to being one of the most talked about newcomers in the last few years.

Bobby Minio: I’ve been trying to tell people that…

Stephen Hailowe: How would you describe your journey so far?

Bobby Minio: Bumpy? Good. Bumpy and good. It’s been a ride, and it hasn’t even been a year. I made a few friends a long the way… and I’ve lost a few… but now I just focus on the task in front of me and doing right by the people I turned on when I felt they turned on me.

Stephen Hailowe: What people?

Bobby Minio: The fans. I didn’t realistically take into account that I’ve been away from this business for a decade, so when they didn’t immediately accept me, I let that fuel me. Next thing I know, I’m shaking hands with Pugh minutes after he’s viciously scalding an innocent waitress with hot tea.

Stephen Hailowe: I can’t imagine that’s the kind of image you wanted to put out there.

Bobby Minio: It’s not about an image. It’s about… Look. Some people like me, some people can’t stand me. I’m not a gray area sort of guy, and I accept that. If you don’t like me, I probably gave you a good reason, it’s a skill of mine… but, for me, I’d rather be forgotten than be remembered for giving in. That’s what I did, I gave in. I gave in and I supported one of the worst men I’ve ever met, and do you know what that earned me? An express trip down a flight of arena stairs. A puddle of vomit, and as recent as a few days ago, a savage beating from a mentally ill former Hardcore champion.

He stops for a moment, leaning forward with his hands pressed into his knees. He takes a breath before looking back at the interviewer.

Bobby Minio: That’s not what I came here for. I came here to wrestle. The blood feuds, the war all the time, that’s a side effect of me and what I bring out of people. That’s my burden I guess, so I’ll be a man, I’ll stand up to the results of my decisions and my actions, even if that earns me a superkick and a kiss from the concrete.

Stephen Hailowe: When Pugh makes comments about ‘killing’ you, what goes through your head?

Bobby Minio: I’d be lying if I said I didn’t think he was perfectly capable of it. He’s a genuinely bad person. That’s no crap, that’s a straight up shoot. There isn’t a ride up the road that Mugen and I don’t openly regret that to each other, backing him up… At the same time, it fires me up. Look, no one, I mean NO ONE, buries me, but ME. When that day comes, I’ll sit up in my grave and brush the dirt in my goddamn self. Paul Pugh can’t kill me. I’m too damn stupid and I’m too damn stubborn.

Stephen Hailowe: So you’re confident for tonight?

Bobby Minio: Hell yes. I’m not just confident, I’m eager. I’m impatient. It’s this simple, Steve. Either I’m walking away from that match tonight, or neither of us are walking away. Pugh is not here to win. He’s not here to climb the OCW ladder and reach out for any brass rings. He’s here to stop ME. He’s here to HURT ME. I can’t let that happen, I won’t. I made that mistake a few weeks ago, tonight, I’m in control.

The sound of the door opening steals the attention of both men. Someone speaks to Minio from off camera, which only picks up a few words. It seems as though Minio has to be somewhere immediately. Hailowe looks over the camera, before scrambling to adapt to the situation.

Stephen Hailowe: Well I look forward to seeing you get your revenge, Bobby. I understand you have another media engagement scheduled, could I catch up with you tomorrow morning to follow this up with some post match reactions?

Minio stands up, leaning down to shake Hailowe’s hand while nodding.

Bobby Minio: Sure, I’ll swing by here after my morning run.

Stephen Hailowe: Thanks so much!

Hailowe turns to face the camera as Minio walks out of frame and out of the hotel room.

Stephen Hailowe: Well that’s part one of our interview with Bobby Minio, check back on the OCWFed.com website tomorrow afternoon for part two, where we go over tonights match with the man himself.

The screen fades to the front page of OCWFed.com, showing only the Part One podcast link, almost a week after Summercide
.
