A delightful victory over Quartz leaves B2O laughing and joking amongst each other backstage.
Baker: Dude, when I seen you go up for The Black Phoenix I thought, “Oh no, this is it!”
B2O stops in front of their locker room while H2O begins to laugh it off.
H2O: We really have to sit down and catch up with one other. H2O has come a long way since The 13th Anniversary Show.
A member from OCW Staff cones racing down the hallway with a cellphone at hand.
Staff: Baker, it’s for you.
H2O: Becky?
Baker: Nope! Heather! GOTTEM!
H2O shakes his head and gets ready to head into the locker room.
H2O: Glad to have you back, Best Friend! Come back soon so we can celebrate and hit the town toni-
H2O walks into his locker room and is stunned by an unexpected visitor. He rushes over to whisper to the visitor.
The crowd can be heard from the arena when the camera catches both of them in the same shot.
H2O: Valkyrie?
Valkyrie: HI HI!
A level of concern arises inside H2O. He looks out into the hallway to see if anyone is coming and sees that it’s clear.
He closes the door immediately and turns back to Valkyrie.
H2O: What are you doing here?
Valkyrie: Well, first off, congratulations for your victory over Quartz tonight. I mean, that guy is so unbelievably annoying, I swear… but anyway.
Valkyrie: I wanted to ask you something. You see…
Valkyrie scratches her head, struggling to find the right words
Valkyrie: Last week I had a… weird encounter with a certain Heather Angelo.
Valkyrie:
She sounded pretty mad about you visiting me at the Brooklyn Hospital Center back in June, even though I can’t remember if that really happened or not.
Valkyrie: Don’t get me wrong, I’m getting used to people wanting me dead for no reason by now, but the list of wannabe Valkyrie-killers is getting rather long recently. And Heather…
Valkyrie looks away from H2O, as the look on her face clearly shows concern about what happened
Valkyrie: Well, she looks like she could actually kill me if she wanted to, unlike the others.
The camera shot quickly changes to the backstage hallway. Heather Angelo just heard the comments Valkyrie has made and starts to smile.
She steps quickly and quietly closer towards the door to listen in a little better on the conversation.
H2O: Heather can kill you if you’re not prepared for her. But fear not Valkyrie. They cleared you to compete just a week ago.
H2O: Once you fully heal, rest assured you’ll have the tools to defeat her.
Heather lunges back away from the door and covers her mouth in shock. The look of shock quickly changes to anger.
Heather takes out her phone and calls Harvey.
Back inside the locker room, H2O walks over to his gym back and pulls out his phone and sees that it’s Heather calling.
He puts her to voicemail.
H2O: But if Heather catches you right now in here with H2O she will take your head and use it as a mantle on a wall.
H2O: Plus, all her assumptions will appear to be correct and it’s not. That wasn’t me that visited you at the hospital. You’re weren’t and not confused.
H2O winks at Valkyrie and puts his arm around her. He shows her that he just received a call from Heather.
He then shows Valkyrie that Heather shares her location with him and is here at The Garden.
H2O points at the door to indicating she may be on the other side listening; Giving Valkyrie a heads up.
Valkyrie: I will leave now, I’m not planning on staying all night long here. But please, do me a favor.
Valkyrie: If you see Heather, talk some sense into her.
Valkyrie: I already have a score to settle with ShowBlitz on Turmoil and with Aerith focused on her championship match, I don’t have allies I can count on at the moment. I can’t be fighting on multiple fronts.
H2O: If it’s not a problem H2O will ask if Heather could assist you some how or in some way.
H2O: ...Or perhaps maybe you should contact that mystery guy that visited you in the hospital. He said he could help.
Both Valkyrie and H2O smile at the very comment that he just uttered.
Heather hears the footsteps walk closer to the door and she turns to hide.
She runs several feet down the hallway and turns the corner to hide behind a wall.
H2O opens the door for Valkyrie.
Valkyrie: Well, I may just do that. Thanks again, Harvey. Hope to see you around.
H2O gives her a very subtle head nod as she walks away.
H2O closes the door behind him.
Heather reveals herself and steps out into the middle of the hallway and just stares down Valkyrie walking away in the opposite direction as the scene fades.
The camera pans to the announce team.
I guess H20 isn't such a dick after all!
How dare you, Valkyrie is a Harlot she is trying to destroy Heather!
Previously Recorded...
Dark blue smoke surrounds a small ring. The railing blocking off a group of standing, cheering crowd members. The ring pans around, before focusing on a very small tunnel, nearly within arms reach of the crowd to the sides.
The arena is small, perhaps no larger than a high school gymnasium. Banners can be seen on the wall, although the text is unable to be read clearly.
As the crowds cheering increases, a dark figure can be seen crawling on his hands and knees from outside the tunnel. The figure is wearing a black mask, with long, shoulder length blue hair.
The sound of a bird-like creature screeches from the low-budget sound system surrounding the tunnel.
Woman's voice: "There he is! Look, look!"
The woman comes into frame holding a young child, pointing towards the figure, who is now standing straight up at ringside, with his arms held wide open. As his arms open, the screech sounds once again.
Woman's voice: "Wave hi! Look, he's looking at you buddy!"
The woman gestures again to the man, who enters the ring slowly before climbing the turnbuckle and pointing in the direction of the young boy.
The camera pans around to the boy's face, which is now totally lit up with joy. He waves back at the man inside the ring.
You blame your mediocrity on him.
Yeah, tuf' guy! You ain't even know who you are.
A white flash comes over the screen before the boy stands, a few years older, in the same ringside position. The woman, now seated, appears more pale and thin than before.
The boy is now clearly much too large to be held. His shirt bares a small "TBP" insignia on the arm.
Woman's voice: "C'mon! Get back up!"
The crowd lets out an enthusiastic "ohhhhh" as a slam can be heard. The camera, still focused on the young boy, has now taken a darker demeanor. His smile has turned to concern.
Heheh, don't beat cho' self up. It's not like he could handle it either.
Right. The sooner you relinquish control, the better.
I would tend to agree, sir. It is my belief that you shall protect yourself even more by doing so.
Another white flash consumes the screen. The boy is again revealed at ringside. He has now grown to a teenage boy, still standing ringside. Lights and crowd noise can still be heard. The woman is no longer there. The chair remaining empty.
The crowd chants continue around the boy, who has joined in. The ring is shown, having grown larger. The first sight of the masked figure we've seen is now laying face down inside the ring. His opponent taunting over his body.
As he rolls in for a pin count, the camera is put back on the boy's face. With each number comes an emptier expression.
One!...Two!......Three!
The crowd erupts with boos and slump down into their dingy fold-up chairs. The boy remains on his feet and through his eyes, we see a singular image of the defeated wrestler.
Arms and legs lay limp as the victor celebrates to a booing crowd.
This image stays on the screen for a long while. Suddenly cuts of the man lying in a similar position inside a home are present. After a few back and forth shots, the camera returns to the boy... Who closes his eyes tight.
It'll happen to you too.
Maaaaahn, I feel like dis' chump is wastin' this body away, mane.
I'm quite bothered by your lack of concern, sir. Please reconsider.
After a few moments. The boy's eyes open... Upon zooming out we do not see the boy, but now a man with his head staring at the floor. He is now seated with his back leaning against a wall.
His eyes bloodshot... he blinks a few times before lifting his head slowly. A wide grin comes across his face as he places his pair of PRISTINE SUNGLASSES on his face and pulls his hooded jacket over his head.
The camera fades out after the man walks out of view, laughing to himself.
The camera pans to the announce team.
That was some high art!
Yup!
After having checked the TTT Locker room, gorilla, production truck, and five other green rooms, Kass find himself at the last stop; the last green room. The room is empty or appeared to be, Kass spots Ryu’s captains hat.
Kassidy: He was HERE!
Kass grabs the nearest stagehand and holds him up against the wall,
Kassidy:(Christian Bale not Adam West Batman Voice) WHERE IS HE!
Stagehand: So dark, are you from,
Kass Hiptosses the stagehand across the room,
Kassidy: No, do not quote deadpool, I’m about to do that.
Kassidy: Fasha, I will find you from whatever scheme this is, time to look into this with,
Kassidy: Maximum Effort.
The camera pans to the announce team.
