The Clark Effect

As the camera began to turn you start to see in clear view of Stacy Clack as well as Benjamin Moore who sat in two seperate chairs back stage with the camera focused on the two

Stacy Clark:
"Welcome to the Clark Effect with your host Stacy Clack. We're gonna begin with an interesting interview today with Benjamin Moore, Benjamin correct me if I'm wrong but is this not your very first interview with me?"

Benjamin Moore:"Yes.. and mi want to ask what took yu so long to have me?"

Stacy Clark:"Oh I was not aware that you felt this way Benjamin.. Well your here now right?"

Stacy says giving a welcoming smile

Benjamin Moore:
"Mi guess so.."

Stacy:"Well Benjamin let's talk about this oil I am hearing so much about around the locker room."

Reaching down to the side and pulling up a well designed jar to present to Stacy, Benjamin proceeds to speak

Benjamin Moore:
"This here is mi own brand of coconut oil straight from Jamaica. Right now mi call it Jamacia's Roots but mi tink the name needs more work.. What do you tink?"

Stacy Clark:"I like.. May I?"

She says extending her hand willing to take hold of the jar to examie it

Benjamin Moore:
"Good it's yours.. a sample for my favorite gal."

Stacy Clark"Well thank you Benjamin.. "

She says taking a closer look at it before putting it beside her

Stack Clark:
"Now let's talk about your latest match on Riot. If memory serves it was against Alexander Thrace correct?"

Benjamim Moore:"What's there to talk about? Him wasn't ready to get into the ring with me and mi proved that tree weeks ago.."

Stacy Clark:"Do you find your match with him.. How can I say, worthy of this status that you so proudly self proclaim?"

Alerted by what was said Benjamin surprisingly bursts out into laughter before gathering his composure to speak once more

Benjamin Moore:
"That match was just for him to see what it's like to wrestle with a superior athlete. Mi don't tink the match was a match worthy of mi time. Yu see Trace.. "

Stacy Clark:"Thrace.. His name is Alexander Thrace."

Benjamin Moore: "Thrace, well yu see Thrace is an okay wrestler who thought he was finna have a "Okay Match" but him was wrong. When yu get in da ring with Benjamin Moore yu get greatness, and he simply wasn't ready. The crowed was there for me and me only."

Stacy Clark:"Well that's alot of confidence there Benjamin.. How do you think Alexander Thrace will react to that strong statement? Not only him but what will your fans think?"

Benjamin Moore:"Mi don't really care what him tink me only know the facts Stacy and the fact is that Benjamin Moore is better, better in and out of the ring. For the fans.. dem already agree. I came here to OCW to show mi fans that I can do what mi set mi mind to and they all saw it and support me 100%!"

Stacy Clark:"Well I can tell you and the fans that you do not disappoint. I look forward to seeing more of the Moore."

Benjamin would lean back within his chair with satisfaction as Stacy then turns to the camera

Stacy Clark:"Well folks you heard it here on Clark Effect. Benjamin Moore thank you for coming and I do hope to see more of you. This is Clark Effect and I'm Stacy Clark."

The Scene would close and continue with tonight's show

The scene opens on a dimly lit bathroom somewhere backstage. A single folding chair sits in the center of a room lined with shower stalls, the Pride Championship and his jacket draped over the back of the chair with an open duffle bag on the ground nearby.

The footsteps of the One Man Revolution, Bobby Minio, announce his arrival as he steps into frame, wearing his wrestling gear and finishing up the tape job on his left hand. He tilts his head side to side, an audible crack popping in his neck each way.

Bobby Minio:
 It’s been a while, kid.

He hops side to side, rolling his shoulders out and moving into a number of different stretches as he works to loosen himself up.

Bobby Minio:
Not that… that’s ever really stopped you before.

He kneels down, grabbing his orange bandana from his bag, and ties that off around his left wrist.

Bobby Minio:
There isn’t a man, woman, animal, vegetable or mineral in this company who has accomplished more working cold than you, Champ.

A quick punching combo is thrown into the air, his head ducking and weaving below the returning punches of an imaginary enemy.

Bobby Minio:
Remember that, be PROUD of that, and use that.

After a moment, he reaches in his bag, bringing up another roll of tape, which he begins taping off his right hand fingers above the knuckle with.

Bobby Minio:
At the end of the night, this doesn’t even matter, win or lose, it’s you and the boys out there, we all win by showing up, putting on a good show and showing those sons of bitches at the so called ‘top’ that they can’t break us.

Bobby Minio: Prove to them that in the end, it’s defiance like this, that will break them, that will break the veneer of them, and reveal to the world that at their core, they are petty, scared and spiteful little creatures.

He tosses the roll of tape back into the bag, before reaching in to grab a black roll of tape which he begins using on his right wrist.

Bobby Minio:
They’re not the unflappable legends that they pretend to be. We know this, and we can show the world, and expose the facade once and for all.

He drops the black roll of tape back into the bag, before turning to face the camera head on now.

Bobby Minio:
They are going to come to learn, the hard way, that every time they show back up here, every time they throw the weight of their names around, it’s them that devalues their good name and their good will.

Bobby Minio: No amount of promos of mic drops can do the damage to their legacies that these ego mastabatory returns can do, absolutely none. By torturing us, by using every tool in your arsenals to try to get under our skin, you confirm the nagging belief that WE MATTER.

Bobby reaches up, grabbing the camera on both sides of the viewer’s frame.

Bobby Minio:
As of today, Dupree, there is no putting this genie back in the bottle. You got off your high horse to stoop to our levels by showing us this much attention, now it’s time for you to look at me from eye level and tell me once and for all. You don’t like me? Dope! NOW WHAT THE F*** ARE YOU GONNA DO ABOUT IT?

With a huff, Minio steps back, then piefaces the camera, shoving the camera frame away from him.

With the camera aimed downward, the lower half of Minio can be seen walking by the chair, forcefully swiping the Pride Championship and jacket off of the back of the folding chair, before Minio’s boots march out of the room, the Pride Championship hanging down in the camera’s lens as he exits the room and heads to the match.

The camera lingers on the chair and duffle bag for another few seconds before cutting back to ring side.
