In the late afternoon, with the sun casting long shadows across the city, El Parca glided through the bustling streets. His sleek car, a beacon of polished steel, seemed to hum in harmony with the city's rhythm.
With one hand casually resting on the steering wheel and the windows down, he savored the warm breeze that carried the city's stories with it.
Parca adjusts the knob on his radio as he’s listening to music, the music fades down as the screen on Bluetooth changes to an incoming call from his loyal manager, friend, and pseudo-dad, Dennis Dillinger. He taps on the screen picking up the call his voice filled with anticipation and angst.
Parca: There he is, what’s up big guy. I’ve been waiting on your call!
Dennis chuckles on the other line as he clears his throat.
Dennis: Likewise! How's the world's greatest pro wrestler doing?
Parca: Oh you know, I’m alright, right now just taking a little cruise around the town to clear my head of things. How’re things with you?
Dennis: Business is being handled, amigo.
Parca nods his head up and down, not that Dennis can see him at this time. He stops at a redlight as he begins looking at his surroundings of the city. Taking a moment to soak everything in as this call was one he’s been expecting for some time.
Parca: Good, good. I’m happy to hear that. You know how much I appreciate you handling things for me while I handle.. my issues.
Dennis: Hey now, I know this may be a shock, but this means more than just dollars and cents at this point. You're my Primero, you've earned it.
Parca smiles at the remark, his progress with Harry is beginning to peak through as he embraces the compliment Dennis gave him. The light turns green and he begins cruising once again down the mean streets as their conversation continues on.
Parca: I imagine the talks with Drago are going good?
Dennis: Very. I didn't know those rascally Eastern Europeans were so friendly.
Parca: Good. You’re the professional and you know I trust you. Is it true you’re actually gonna have a face to face with Anthony?
Dennis, on his end stands up from his lavish couch that he’s sitting on and goes over to a nearby dresser. On the dresser is an ad for tonights RIOT, advertising a face-to-face interview with Stacy Clark, Dennis Dillinger, and Anthony Martin. He picks up the ad as he continues on with Parca.
Dennis: You better believe it. Just like we discussed. As part of our agreement, Drago set the whole thing up.
Parca: Well… you know I’ll be watching. And… thanks again Dennis. I can’t tell you how much all of this means to me.
Dennis: Hey, this world's too cruel to it's most valuable, sometimes. I know that better than anyone, if you catch my drift. Anything for El Primero.
Parca: Alright boss man, I’ll talk to you later and I’ll be sure to keep an eye on things, later.
Dennis: As close an eye as there is in the business, me boy. Good talking to you. I'll call you back after the interview.
With hearing his final words of the call, Parca hangs up the phone and turns his music back up. He takes another glance at his surroundings of the city as he drives near Madison Square Garden, as he sees the familiar streets and venues he turns around and drives the opposite way.
Parca: Not yet, not until I know it’s right. Not until he tells me it’s time to go home.
He speeds off down the street as cameras lose sight of the car, panning down and fading to black as the show continues on.
MONETARY HORSES THE LAST BLACKSMITH vs. C-NOTE
The scene opens up with the newly dubbed “GOAT Support-System backstage in the locker room. Anthony Martin, K.C. Barrett, and the OCW World Heavyweight Champion Aries are seated in triangle formation, right next to a rather conspicuous large brown box. The Top G looks over at K.C.B and places his hand on his shoulder with a big smile on his face.
Aries: “I’m so happy we’ve finally come together, fellas. This is momentous. YUGE. This is a big deal, and do you know why it’s a big deal?”
Both A-Mart and K.C. shrug with a confused look on their faces.
Aries: “It’s a big deal because from here on out, we’re going to shape the future of OCW. Do you want to know how?”
The Top G reaches over into the ridiculously large box and pulls out a small set of keys, handing them to A-Mart.
Aries: “These keys, Professor, are they keys to my old kingdom. A kingdom that belonged to a weak man. Before I fused with Trash Energy after that Exploding Barbed Wire Death Match, I was a useless old fool.”
Aries: “These keys are for my old academy. No longer GOAT Academy. No longer taken advantage of by snakes in the grass. These keys … they’re for Professor University.”
A-Mart sits with a shocked look on his face, but extends his hands in gratitude to the Top G.
A-Mart: “Wow. I mean, I don’t even know what to say, champ. This is amazing. But … P.U? Are we settled on this name?”
Aries: “Settled? I already got the lease and all the paperwork with your name and Professor University. EVEN THE COPYRIGHT! Are you not happy with it?!”
A-Mart: “No, no! I am, of course I am Top G, but … P.U? Are you sure we couldn’t go with something less … you know, ridiculous?”
With a look of death and defeat in his eyes, the Top G lowers his head. Concerned for their new stablemate, K.C. and A-Mart check on the champ, but he begins to laugh.
Aries: “I GOT YOU, YOU SON OF A BITCH! HA HA! TOP G STILL GOT IT!”
A-Mart: “Wait. The name isn’t real?!”
Aries: “Of course not! Who do you think I am? Listen, the academy is yours to do as you please. Name and everything. In fact, I have an idea on two students you might need to look into, Professor.”
The veteran laughs, as K.C. sits back down into his chair.
K.C.B: “So … nothing for me? And we aren’t here to talk about your daughter hitting me with a chair?”
Aries: “For you? Initials, I have more than just an academy for you. You are my favorite new son, and I’m going to treat you that way. Forget my ridiculous old daughter. From now until the heat death of the universe, you’re going to get the support you deserve. That’s why I have an important task for you tonight.”
[b]Top G reaches back into the box and pulls out three black t-shirts. He lays two on the floor next to him, and proceeds to unfold one in front of his guys.
Aries: “This … It's our new shirt. Our new logo. I got one fitted for everyone’s exact needs. Initials, I know you like to be sexy, so I got you a crop top. Professor, I got a very professional, casual shirt. And for me, well, I got something so fancy. Something so extraordinary and bigly yuge.”
K.C.B: Veto on the crop top
Aries just stares blankly at K.C.B.
K.C.B: I'm not wearing a crop top.
Aries: But I already made the shirt….
K.C.B: Then call it something else or i'm not wearing it.
Aries: You really are just like those other two offsprings….
Aries: FINE. Initials you get the extremely short T shirt that can be classified as extra smedium that allows your abs to breath correctly.
K.C.B: Much better thank you
Aries shakes his head just in awe at what transpired and proceeds back to business.
Aries: “We’re the GOAT Support-System. You’re not just supporting me, though. You’re supporting each other. We’re a brotherhood. A clan!”
K.C.B.: “A clan of three white men dressed in white, nothing could go wrong with this”
Aries pauses briefly while A-Mart smirks.
Aries: “What do you mean?”
K.C.B.: “You know, when you take us to dinner tonight, maybe I can explain it to ya.”
Aries: “Deal! This is our time, gentleman. We’re going to make this memorable. We’re going to make this company understand how the power of friendship and fatherhood can be a beautiful thing!”
Aries looks over to K.C.
Aries: “And for tonight … I need you to make someone rue the day they screwed around with the Top G. Can you handle that for me?”
Before answering, the trio noticed the cameraman at the door, recording them.
A-Mart: “Allow me, Top G.”
A-Mart gets up off his chair and walks towards the cameraman, chasing him out of the room and closing the door behind him, leaving their plans a mystery.
