The sounds of the Dodge Challenger Hellcat can be heard as we fade into the scene. Heather Angleo steps out and leans down before she closes the door to say one last thing to Cody.
Heather: Just wait out here, Cody. It’s bad enough you’re this close to this place. Tonight it’s about him and his celebration. Nothing else.
Cody Hagen sucks his teeth but shakes his head “Ok”.
Heather: Thank you for understanding. Come back in a few hours.
Heather closes the door as Cody screeches off into the night. Heather Angleo turns and proceeds to walk at a leisurely pace towards her Church.
The Kasstian Church.
She helps herself and walks inside. There’s a celebration going on in recognition of Papa Kass. There’s nice decorative tables throughout the entire church floor - Blue and gold balloons placed nicely on top of the long table and on the banner above the altar.
The banner reads: Congratulations Hall of Famer.
Kassidy Hayes is already seated at the head of the table awaiting his guests. Francis pulls the chair out on his left for Heather to sit in. She happily sits down.
Kassidy: Welcome home, my child, I am happy to see you have recovered.
Heather doesn’t say a word because she is riddled with mixed feelings right now. She looks around and notices there’s some empty seats at the table.
Kassidy: Something wrong?
Heather: Am I the only one invited? Where’s Alexa, Shelly, Chris and Harvey?
Kassidy: Alexa is still nursing her injury.
Kassidy: Chris Greene went back momentarily to making The Believers to give Quartz and his brother their first loss as a tag team. Rah rah, Kasstianity all with chins up, smiles on our faces while trying to do good after Summercide and Drago’s workshops.
Kassidy: Shelly…..
Heather: Wait a minute what? You never were able to get Harvey back here?
Kassidy: Everyone makes their choices. I don’t force anyone to do what they don’t want to do, you know that. You came here on your own, correct?
Heather: Yes but I thought…..
Kassidy: There’s one more thing I must tell you about Harvey…..
The door suddenly swings open.
Emp: HELLO bitches!
Heather goes to stand up but Kassidy grabs her by her forearm and shakes his head “No”. He nods his head towards the seat, telling her to sit back down.
Heather is reluctant but does anyway. Meanwhile, Empress trots her way towards the table and hands Kassidy a box with a bow tie tied around it.
Empress can feel Heather’s eyes burning holes in her. She turns to give Heather a stank face and sticks her middle finger up.
Francis pulls the right seat out to have Empress sit. She sits down, crosses her legs and leans forward on the table to engage with Heather.
Emp: I might not be active in Kasstianity but I’m always going to be his right hand unlike your drop out ass, Devil Bitch.
Kassidy: Was hoping for a more civil engagement, Emp.
Emp: Sorry, I meant Devil Dog or whatever you called yourself.
Heather inhales deeply and exhales through her nose.
Kassidy: Ladies, we are a family under this roof. this isn’t about you two tonight.
Kassidy: There’s no fighting or bloodshed in our church. This gathering tonight is to be about me. I just got inducted into The OCW Hall of Fame.
Kassidy unties the ribbon and opens the box. He looks at Empress with a smirk.
Emp: I couldn’t come to dinner empty handed. Unlike a certain someone. I made you some Kass’ cupcakes.
Heather: Kiss Ass.
Emp grabs a knife and slams it on the table. Kassidy rolls his eyes and sits back in his chair.
Emp: You better watch your tongue before your next hospital bed will be in the morgue!
Heather: You really don’t know how well latinas handle knives do you? You piece of shit.
Kassidy: Enough! I can’t have this tonight.
Heather: Fine! I’m leaving. As long as she’s around I’m gone.
Emp: Sucks for you because I’m not going anywhere.
Heather walks away and heads towards the door. She stops to turn back at Kassidy Hayes. He sits there leaning on the table with his hands folded and his head resting on top of them.
Their eyes are locked onto each other from a distance.
Kassidy: I never make people do anything they don’t want to do.
Heather: I will always remain part of this family. But I can’t stay here anymore with her around. She tried to kill me Papa Kass.
Kassidy: Family fight but you were not an innocent victim, you tried to usurp her power in TOG in your quest to force Emp back here, something I didn’t ask you to do. You overplayed your hand, she went too far, neither of you willing to compromise and I don’t referee internal squabbles.
Kassidy: A task Harvey tried to do as well and failed, a common trait in those failures, thinking you are doing me a favor. If you both actually stuck to doing something I actually wanted you to be doing, He would’ve beat Doc and you would’ve never ended up in the hospital to begin with.
Heather sheds a tear.
Heather: Congratulations, Kassidy. I’m happy you got in.
Heather quickly walks out of the church. Cody Hagen was already waiting for Heather outside. She rushes to the car and gets in quickly.
Heather: Let’s get back to The Cesar Dojo.
Without a word, Cody looks for his history of Cesar Dojo in his GPS and finds it. He races off with Heather.
Meanwhile, back at the church. Kassidy Hayes sips his wine while Emp is cutting into her steak with the knife she threatened Heather with.
With a mouth full of steak….
Emp: B..ish… could…t…brin…a…giff…f..king…rude!
What’s in your head? What’s in your head? Zombie! Zombie! Zombie!
Zombie blasts through the arena. The Bad Wolves version.
Blaine, the former Women’s Champion, the former It of OCW, the Gender Brutal, has returned.
Blaine: I’m not going to waste a damn second. People ask me, “Why?”
The crowd boos.
Blaine: Money, it’s always money. When I was the Women’s Champion, my motivation was money. When I won the Queen of Ocw, my motivation was money. When I took JCS to the cleaners for my contract, it was because of money.
The crowd boos even louder.
Blaine: You think I give a damn about your respect? Half of you are here on budget tickets given out by a gas station promotion!
Blaine uses her hand to shield her eyes and peer up at the highest seats.
Blaine: How are you doing up there? Can you care that you can’t see anything, or are you just happy to avoid your wives for a night?
Blaine: Don’t worry; I’m sure they are just as happy to be rid of you too. Chad down the street is cold banging her to fulfillment.
Blaine looks at a little kid in the front row: Mama kisses you with that mouth.
Blaine: I’m here for money, that’s it! When Empress main events Wrestlution, I will make that happen, I have a nice payday waiting for me!
Previously recorded in a somewhat secure, with a virtual crowd, we see one half of the OCW Undisputed Tag Team Champions, John Carter sitting in a chair.
Across from John is OCW commentator, journalist, and podcaster, Brian Williams. John appears in a sling on screen ready for his interview with Brian Willams
Brian Williams: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back, it’s ya boy, Brian Williams and we are here… IN THE BUNKER! And today, we got ourselves a big guest, it’s going to be one-half of the Undisputed OCW Tag Team Champions, Mr. John Carter. John, please my man how are ya?
John: Thank you for having me Brian. I wanted to be able to talk about this in front of the OCW fan base before so slimy newsman like yourself picked up on the story.
Brian shakes his head at the remark from John, we hear a soft boo noise from behind the cameras which would be from the virtual crowd.
Brian: I don’t understand the unnecessary attack on my person, but of course, the floor is yours.
John: You’re lucky you treated me well during the Ambition days so I trust you more than some others. But as you can tell by this sling around my arm I suffered an injury at the 19th Anniversary show.
John grimaces in pain when he adjusts himself on the chair. He tightens his arm sling a bit more giving it more pressure trying to alleviate the pain.
John: When I dove to the outside on Derek and Chance I separated my shoulder. I knew as soon as I stood up something just didn’t feel right. Even after we won it hurt when the ref raised our hands in victory.
Brian removes his glasses shocked by the comments from the champion, in an attempt to continue professionalism he chuckles as he keeps the show rolling.
Brian: I don’t have the slightest clue about what you mean by that, but anyways, separated shoulder that is unfortunate. What does this mean for you? For the OCW Undisputed Tag Team Championships?
John: Honestly I don’t know yet. A separated shoulder isn’t the worst injury in the world. Obviously as one half of the OCW tag team champions I have a responsibility to defend these championships. If I’m unable to do so then unfortunately I may need to let go of what I worked so hard for.
Brian: Honestly John, I’m gutted to hear that. I know just how hard and how long you fought, and clawed your way to finally earn those championships with Jordan. If that’s the case then I gotta ask. what happens in the worst-case scenario if you aren’t ready to defend the championships by On Deadly Ground?
John: I’m going to take this week to work on rehabbing my arm and next week on Turmoil I will answer that question because honestly I don’t know if I’m going to be ready on time yet. I was told by the OCW medical staff for me to be in the ring for On Deadly Ground.
Behind the cameras again we hear the virtual crowd let out a small gasp and “awe” of sadness. Realizing that John may be faced to vacate that’ll leave the tag team division in disarray.
John: My recovery is going to need to go perfectly. I don’t want to let Jordan down so I’m going to do everything in my power to make sure I am back and ready at 100% in time to defend these championships. As I said though next week on Turmoil i'll have the answer to that question.
Brian: Well John, I honestly wish you the best in your recovery. You’re an interesting man but your drive, desire, and passion for tag team wrestling can never be questioned.
Brian: Folks, that’s it for me and John Carter, I thank you all for joining me in yet another episode of The Bunker or Brian’s Bunker. Whichever you prefer, but I gotta flight to catch with our Women’s World Champion. Take care folks!
Brian scurries off the set as John gathers his belongings and the cameras pan down and cut to commercial.
LOTUS FLOJO vs. HIFUMI MAYOSHI
Late in the afternoon, the newly inducted OCW Hall of Famer Dragana Cesar is seen walking up to the doors of the Cesar Dojo, holding some grocery bags in one hand and her keys in the other.
She fumbles around with the keys for a few seconds, nearly dropping them. She unlocks the doors, enters the Dojo, and closes the doors behind her. She gently places her groceries on the floor before flicking the light switch on.
Dragana: Eh?
Students: SURPRISE!!!!
Dragana turns her head to find all her students hollering and throwing confetti all over the Dojo. She looks up at the ceiling to find several signs reading “Congratulations”. She returns her gaze to her students, stunned by the surprise. Harper LeRoux and Amy Jade Miller run up to her.
AJM: Congrats, Sensei Dragana!
Harper: We wanted to throw you a surprise party for your Hall of Fame induction!
Harper takes her by the arm and leads her to a gold cake with “Hall of Fame” decorations on it. The Silent Queen blushes, holding a hand to her heart.
???: MEINE BEST FRIEND!!!!
The ground shakes with each rapid footstep as the students make way for another recent Hall of Fame inductee; Bertha Stigglitz, who sprints up to Dragana and lifts her up with the greatest of ease like a child holding a teddy bear. The Olympian spins her around a few times before she brings her in for a hug. Dragana embraces her in return.
Harper: Congrats Miss Bertha!
Bertha: Danke und congratulations Quiet Mami. You and your glutes have helped me so much. Meine dream of becoming eine Hall of Famer has come true.
Student #1: You rock Sensei!
Bertha puts Dragana down. Dragana covers her face with her hands, overcome with emotion. AJM walks up to her, holding a mysterious box in her hands.
AJM: We just got this… suspicious package… in today too. I’m not exactly sure what it could be, but it has your name on it. It’s not from any of us.
Amy puts the box on the floor, the students murmuring to each other about what it could be.
Harper: We need to be careful, this could be another secret admirer!
Dragana sits in front of the box and carefully opens it. She pulls out a beautiful bouquet of flowers, each soft pink rose resting next to an accompanying peonie, along with a note addressed to a “Regina Tacet”. It reads:
“Regina Tacet,
I was filled with overwhelming joy when I heard the news of your Hall of Fame induction. Though your kindness, warmness and clear desire to do what is right mean you already hold a special place in the hearts of many around you, an official recognition of all of your hard work serves as a beacon - a reminder to those who know you only has an athlete - that you are one of the great women this business and this world has ever seen.
I love you and wish you an amazing day and cannot wait to see where you bring the Cesar Dojo next.
I look forward to visiting the next time I am in the area and meeting your adoring pupils in person.
Etsi longe sumus, spiritus nostri connexi manent.
With love, Terra”
The tears stream down Dragana’s face after reading the note, the smile on her face not going unnoticed by her students.
Harper: Cute flowers! I wonder who sent them…
Dragana:S-Soror
The students collectively gasp, turning to each other.
Student #2: Did she just…
Student #3: What does that mean?
As if there weren’t enough surprises, Dragana is met with a gentle headbutt from her lion friend, Bubba. Crouched over right next to him is the COO himself. Drago embraces his sister.
Drago: I’m so proud of you.
Bubba joins in on the hug, looking over at the rest of the students while sticking his tongue out. One by one, Bertha, AJM, Harper, and the students join in on the group hug.
Students: We love you Sensei!
We are taken once again to the GM’s office, where we see co-GM EMP’s smug grin front and center. The camera spins around to show the COO, Drago Cesar seated at the head of the table, spinning a pen around awkwardly. He’s flanked by his other co-GMs in Tiberius Dupree and Ryu Matsumoto. The Betterness slides a paper toward Drago.
Drago: This card order for S Cup tournament?
Dupree: Yes sir.
Drago: Look nice….
He looks up at EMP with an annoyed frown.
Drago: I’m surprise Sensation let you compete after what you did to Tiffany.
EMP: That’s because he knows I’M the biggest draw of this company. Not that dumb nepo baby bitch.
EMP puts her feet up on the table.
EMP: This S Cup is about to be the easiest thing ever. That Pride Championship is coming home, along with the REAL OCW World Women’s Wrestling Championship.
Drago sighs.
Dupree: You’re NOT…..Ugh, whatever.
Drago and Dupree turn to find Spider looking down at the table, not saying a word.
Drago: What wrong Spider?
RYU: Y’all don’t appreciate me.
RYU: AFTER ALL I’VE DONE. I DON’T EVEN GET A PLACE IN THE S CUP!
Drago: We were very careful about who we pick. Lot of competition. Maybe you be in it next time.
Spider hammerfists the table repeatedly.
RYU: I *bang* AM *bang* THE *bang* GREATEST *bang* WOMEN’S *bang* WRESTLER *bang* EVER!
EMP: Second greatest compared to me. Embrace my Pride!!!
The banging on the table does not wake a now snoozing Dupree, who drifted off somewhere between EMP’s gloating and Spider’s rage.
