Events from last week’s Riot are shown as we see scenes from Maxx Edward’s Kasstianity flanked entrance followed by his appearance during the main event of the show.
The image goes black as the camera pans away to reveal Maxx Edwards standing next to the now off TV, looking intently into the camera.
Maxx: Harvey…Hamilton…Ocean
Maxx: Did you really think that you could beat me into obedience?
Maxx: Did you really think that after one long week of bruises and scars that I was ready to fall in line?
Maxx: I guess that must’ve been where my acting met your ego because as much as it pains me to say it…
Maxx winces before cracking a smile.
Maxx: …you should’ve listened to Kassidy.
Maxx: You should’ve never let me step foot in that church but you wanted to prove to Papa Kass that his little boy was all grown up and could handle his problems on his own.
Maxx starts to get a little fired up, his intensity increasing with each word.
Maxx: Well, Papa Kass’s little boy sure made a mountain out of this molehill!
Maxx: As letting me off that chain was the biggest mistake you’ve made in a long career of mistakes.
As spit goes everywhere, Maxx peels down his black tanktop revealing a gnarly bruise over his right pec as he continues on his tirade.
Maxx: You thought these scars and bruises were supposed to be a reminder of what happens when I disobey but boy were you mistaken!
Maxx: Every morning, I wake up and see these scars and am reminded exactly of what I’m fighting for and what I’m fighting against.
Maxx gets closer to the camera.
Maxx: You can dress me up in all the dark makeup and edgy clothing you want but as Wrestlution showed, YOU’LL NEVER BE ABLE TO CHANGE MAXX EDWARDS!
Maxx: And I got the Golden Gun. That means I only need ONE SHOT, ONE MATCH, ONE CLIMAXX to take that big Gold Belt from around your waist.
Maxx: And At Summercide, we’ll see if YOU can survive the monster that you should’ve kept under your floorboards.
The camera remains focused on the background as Maxx walks away, before cutting to commercial break shortly after.
The scene opens with FloJo staring at a tv monitor backstage. C-Note is sitting in the background with his legs kicked up.
FloJo: Interesting. Riveting performance by Jasmin. we’ve got to study each and every competitor in this god-forsaken fed.
C-Note nods
FloJo: See? Everyone has a different approach to taking down their opponents.
FloJo: Eventually, that girl is gonna wanna take me down…
FloJo: But enough of that, let us focus on you…Partner!
The scene fades to black as FloJo attempts to give strategies to C-Note.
