KC Barrett makes his way through the locker room area, ignoring the camera at first as he storms through the hallway. Kicking open the first door he sees as he walks into the stairwell. Pacing back and forth a few times trying to catch his breath, before slamming his fist into the wall.
KC Barrett: Get out of my head…. get out of my head….
KC slams another fist into the wall.
KC Barrett: Get the #### out of my head.
KC pauses as he looks down at his hand, the blood begins to soak through the tape across his knuckles. Rolling his wrist from side to side as the white tape turns red as the blood begins to slowly trickle out.
A smile grows across his face before starting to punch the wall over and over again, each punch slamming harder and harder into the wall. The last one connects as a small crack begins to form on the wall.
KC takes another deep breath turning his back to the cracked wall as he collapses against it. Sliding down the wall as he begins to intake his knuckles as the blood continues to soak through the tape.
KC Barrett: I don’t have an excuse I just froze, and stood there like I had a giant sandbag holding me back.
KC Barrett: But that’s just what you are isn’t it Parca? Just a sandbag…..Hell, you aren’t even just holding me back…..You are holding yourself back.
KC Barrett: Just like your boy Dennis did earlier tonight.
KC smiles as he throws the blood-soaked tape down the stairwell. His knuckles are bruised and still bleeding as he pauses watching the blood dripping from them.
KC Barrett: But the thing about sandbags is just as easily we can allow them to hold us down, they can be cut free….
KC rises back to his feet
KC Barrett: How about we cut what’s holding us back next week El Primero…. You and me face to face, no Dennis, no family either.
KC Barrett: If you’re too afraid to share a ring with me then invite Catriona and let her keep the peace.
We see the church of Kasstianity empty, nobody there, until we spot the number one contender sitting on the benches. His hands are folded together as if he is praying, having his eyes shut.
He takes a deep breath of the curch's dusty and slightly chilly air.
Sheldon: This still feels new to me; you know everything. I was down when, in my eyes, I saw SANCTUM crumble. I was hit hard, but then Kassity Hayes came to me, taking me under his wing and teaching me how to do better.
Sheldon: Through him, I gained opportunities I had never imagined. I ... I finally feel powerful. I do not have to hide anymore, and this is all thanks to Kasstianity.
Sheldon: This is like the family I wished for. They don't push me in any direction. No, they help build my strengths and terminate my weaknesses.
Sheldon: So, Rust Cohle, I hope you are not too sad I didn't answer your call tonight. I don't want to be too hard to you but Rust, you no longer call the shots around here. Your star, while still giving glimmers, is fading.
Sheldon: Your generation has done its work, and it's time for them to ride off into the sunset. You think I need more time to be ready, but I showed you how prepared I am with Besting Quartz.
Sheldon: It's time for me to take that belt from you and cement me as the next big thing of OCW. We will see comes Wrestlelution if you still have the stuff to carry the flag or if it is time for the new breed to carry on.
Sheldon stands up, takes a quick bow, and with a little smirk, leaves the church with the picture fading to black.
TRIPLE THREAT
CHRISTIAN GARCIA vs.
JOHN CARTER vs. MARK REESE
The camera rapidly approaches the commotion, zooming in on DOC and Hell Harvey fighting in the backstage area of the Barclays Center. DOC throws the shovel he was wielding to the ground, facing the camera as he addresses the audience and his enemies.
DOC: I told you I was coming, Harvey! I told you it didn’t matter what it took, I was going to bring the Good Light back out of you, even if it meant destroying everything you have now. THIS is what I meant.
DOC shoves the camera towards the supine Harvey Ocean before panning it back to himself.
DOC: Come Wrestlution, bring everything you got bruv, I’m begging you. That is the only place that I’m gonna be able to get rid of this thing that has turned you into a monster, and hell, maybe you’ll exorcise some of my demons too, because I’ve been holding onto them too damn long because of you, Harvey.
DOC stares into the camera, a slightly solemn expression coming over his face as he comes to the realisation of what he’s just done.
DOC: I know what’s going on with you, bro. I tried to get through to you last week because you were like a brother to me. I know that the price I’m gonna pay when we step out on the grandest stage is gonna be a big one, but that’s what brothers do for each other. Clocks ticking, old friend. See you at Lution.
DOC drops the camera and walks away, further into the backstage area.
