OCWFED.com Presents Riot

Telos’ music hits, as he returns to the ring to the confusion of the crowd.

Telos motions to ringside for a microphone, looking to address the crowd before the next match. After receiving it, he climbs the turnbuckle, sitting and scanning the arena through a chorus of boos.

Telos: It's always nice to be out here in front of yall. The welcome is always warm.

Telos rolls his eyes as the crowd continues to jeer.

Telos: I assume you're all expecting some grand speech from me, and normally that would be the case.

Telos: But tonight, I'm going to be candid with you. I feel like I've reached the point where that's all I can be.

The arena stirs as Telos speaks,

Telos: There's a reason I haven't been myself lately. And that reason is: my feelings were hurt.

A mix of laughs and cheering come from the crowd before Telos continues…

Telos: Yeah, yeah I know, Big Bad Telos with his feelings hurt. Hilarious. But let me tell you why.

Telos: I been busting my ass trying to get my shot at Bobby Minio. At the Pride Championship. At LEAST getting my name in the conversation.

Telos: So, to my surprise, the card for last week's RIOT drops and there's a 4 way match to determine the #1 Contender… But Telos isn't in it. No I'm relegated to the opening match, fighting Shepherd. And yes, that stung, just a bit.

The OCW begins a chant of “You Deserve It!” mockingly. Telos hops down from the turnbuckle and begins pacing around the ring.

Telos: So I said to myself, hey, whatever you're doing, you ain't doing it right. So I've spent the past week thinking, questioning the correct way to get to my endgame. Because I clearly haven't been myself lately. Then I realized the answer is this:

Telos stops in the center of the ring, staring directly into the camera.

Telos: I'm going to take that goddamn belt. There ain't a man, woman, staff member, security guard or cop in this arena that's going to stop me.

Telos: This is New York right? I'm calling my shot, just like Babe.

Telos: Bobby. Maxwale. I want you both to know that when the time comes, any restraint I've had in the past left when I turned Cyborg back into Victor Stone.

Telos: When I face you in the ring, I plan to leave you broken. But I'm done holding grudges. Done taking things personally. I'll be watching your match closely at Road 2 Glory.

Telos: Whatever happens after that, remember, it's just business. And I'll make sure business is handled at Wrestlution.

Telos throws the microphone out of the ring and makes his way back up the ramp, eyes locked ahead of him as he walks backstage.

As we pan to the back, the camera enters a Riot's locker room. Rust Cohle is sitting on a bench, all by himself, looking at his phone.

Rust:
Psh. That was a bad match. I told Zoe to be careful. Now she is probably injured.

Seems like Cohle is watching the replay of last Turmoil, where Zoe was crushed by the Women's Champion, Blaine.
He is scrolling.

Rust: What do we have here?.. Hum..

He suddenly stops.

Rust:
Wait?! What is that ?.. “Road to the Gold” ?.. You got to be kidding me.

Rust seems frustrated at the announce that Quartz is in this singles competition.

Rust:
Yeah keep going petite merde, fais ta vie. Why is he in there and not me ? This place is a s***hole.

Cohle jumps right to the match between Quartz and his first round opponent, Benji Moore. He fast forward the match at 2x speed.

Rust:
You think you better than me ? Huh ?

Rusty is getting angrier by the minute as we approach the end of the bout.

Finally, Benji is getting the best of Ijitu, as Quartz is pinned in the middle of the ring.
Rust jumps out of his chair with a mixed feeling of joy and anger.

Rust: There you go you dumb f*** s*** of a b**** you f****. You think you better than me ? Y'all think he is better than me ? What a solo act! Bravo! I'll show you who is the man around here!

Cohle look at his phone, like he found a something, before violently throwing it into the wall, shattering it to pieces, while bursting out of the room.

Backstage

Dragana’s eyes open to a quiet and serene location. Her vision is blurry, but she can still see birds flying above her, chirping frequently. The wind gently blows to the east, causing her pigtails to move slightly. Her vision starts to sharpen, and she takes note of the sun shining to her right.

The situation feels rather strange to her, not knowing how or why she’s here. The environment feels almost….unreal, like a dream. Is she dead? Is this heaven?

She turns her head to her right side and realizes that she is on the ground; the blades of grass delicately pressing up against her face. She looks at her arm and notices a ladybug comfortably resting on her forearm.

She turns her attention away from the ladybug and focuses on what is in front of her, two unsavory gentlemen arguing outside the gates of wherever she is. Both middle-aged men look to be quite grumpy; the former pointing at his Timberlands and screaming various obscenities, the latter being nonchalant in response.

Man #1:
Yo why dafuq you gotta step on my Timbs b? You know how much these cost? We gonna have a serious f***ing problem here.

Man #2: I don’t give a chit about your choos mang.

Dragana lets out a weak laugh. Quite a ways away from heaven.

She pushes herself up to a seated position. She reaches to her temples, her head still pounding from the events of Turmoil.

Dragana:
 Augh……

She spots something from the corner of her eye. She turns her head to spot a familiar face sitting cross-legged next to her.

Terra:
 Good afternoon, Ms. Dragana.

Terra sits with her hands resting comfortably in her lap. Her eyes are closed and she holds a peaceful smile on her face.

Dragana starts to look around a little faster, trying to understand her current situation. Terra peeks out of her closed eye to see the Silent Queen shifting about.

Terra:
It’s okay, Ms. Dragana. You are safe. I brought you here to recover in the only way I know how.

Dragana: …

Terra: Please, continue to rest. I have food and water as well as essential calming oils if you need. Mater Natura will take care of you.

The wind continues to blow softly, whistling in the breeze. Dragana, still somewhat confused, looks at Terra for a few moments with curiosity. She blinks a few times quickly before the pain once again catches up to her and she lies back into the soft grass.

Terra:
Trust that I am not trying to keep you here, Ms. Dragana. You may leave as soon as your body allows you the strength.

Dragana lies straight down, staring up at the beautiful pink and blue late afternoon sky, still thinking intently it seems. The camera focuses on Dragana’s face as Terra continues to speak.

Terra:
You are very strong and caring, Ms. Dragana. Without your welcome to me all those months ago… I might have given up.

Terra: I was experiencing the greatest sadness I had ever experienced before. The amount of pure odium towards me… I could not believe my eyes.

Dragana’s eyes lower and she thinks about Terra’s last statement. She exhales deeply.

Terra:
But you… were different. You gave me hope. Through no words at all, you showed me how powerful and kind a soul is capable of being, even in the place we find ourselves today.

Terra: I do not know how… but I found your Azalea. I found it outside of my door and I knew it was not a coincidence.

Dragana blinks again, quickly remembering her situation, being restrained and tortured by Ace after Turmoil just a week ago. She quickly throws her head to the side and looks at Terra, who is still calmly meditating and speaking to her.

Terra:
You saved me. So I had no choice but to save you.

Dragana lets out a tiny smile and her eyes start to well up with tears but she takes another deep breath, closing her eyes and stopping herself from crying.

Terra opens her eyes and brushes her hair back, before reaching into her pack and pulling out a small pink bottle, a hemp rag, and a bottle of water. She slowly shakes out some pink fluid onto the rag, before dousing it in water.

Terra:
...but I do not wish to burden you once you are healthy. I only want to help. So please, just relax for a few more hours until you regain all of the strength. With how much you have shown me, it may take a little bit longer than a normal woman.

Terra smiles at her little “joke” and places the wet rag over Dragana’s forehead.

Dragana holds her hand out to Terra. Terra places her hand on Dragana’s hand. Dragana then takes her free hand and places it on top of Terra’s. Dragana closes her eyes and nods her head. The ladybug that was resting on her forearm crawls over to Terra’s arm.

Terra:
So nice of you to join us!

Terra admires the ladybug while Dragana once again rolls her head around and looks up at the sky. She smirks a bit in relaxation and closes her eyes once more as the camera zooms out wide to see the two women relaxing in the beautiful park area.
