Chapter 5

After viewing a hard hitting match Lotus FloJo leaves the gorilla position to wander around the backstage area. FloJo reaches into her bag to pull out her phone to listen to music. She keeps the volume loud enough for her to enjoy while being low enough for her to hear what’s going on around her.

FloJo:
“Everybody's talking all this stuff about me, Why don't they just let me live?”

FloJo hears a commotion coming from an area next to catering.

FloJo:
Oh shit--

Ashley is throwing a fit trying to argue that Ted “fucked on her”

Ashley Moore:
Didn’t you see it? He counted way quicker than usual. How else do you think I got pinned after that move?

She grabs a producers shirt who was standing nearby and looks at him like she is going to murder him, but then she shoves him away so that he lands on the ground.

Ashley Moore:
You piece of garbage. All of u ... Am I surrounded by bloody amateurs?

Now she spots Flojo.

Ashley Moore:
And you … what are you laughing about. Do you want a bloody nose?

FloJo: A bloody nose? Ahaha…

FloJo: Remember what I told you back on Riot? Sooner or later somebody is gonna take that championship away from you and look at what happened.

Ashley smacks FloJo across the face knocking her phone out of her hand smashing it into the ground clearly breaking it.

Ashley Moore:
Now get out of my face.

Flojo: I will send you the bill for my phone.

Ashley Moore: Do that. As if I give a shit about those peanuts.

FloJo: Peanuts? Wanna know what cost less than peanuts?

Ashley Moore: what..?

FloJo: Them clothes you got on your back.

Ashley Moore: You little ...

Ashley charges at FloJo but FloJo tackles Moore to the ground and transitions into a modified crossface. The OCW security scramble to break up the scuffle. FloJo finally releases the hold. Leaving Moore lying on the ground.

FloJo:
C u next Tuesday, bitch.

Ashley Moore: You’ll pay for this.

The Camera Pans To The Ramp!

The chirping of birds and crickets can be heard in a beautifully lit garden. The camera cuts to several shots of blooming flowers and colorful roses. A green water can slowly moves in from the right, pouring slow droplets of water onto a collection of flowers.

As it the camera zooms out, we see the can is being held by Terra Daturas, who looks up into the sky and closes her eyes. Her voiceover is heard over the view.

Terra:
Is it not a beautiful view?

Another camera cut shows Terra leaning down in the background as a small sprout grows in the foreground. She continues speaking overtop of the video.

Terra:
Even the youngest of flowers emit such beauty and potential. They carry no stress or no ego. They are just as her grace intended.

Another cut sees Terra walking through her garden with the water can in hand.

Terra:
Mater Natura creates life and she takes life away. The sweet balance of the cycle decides these things. Unfortunate character traits such as hatred, pompousness, lust, and conceit do not exist in nature - and thus, are not causes for the unfortunate destruction we see every day. Mater Natura is not vengeful. She does not seek revenge. She simply is.

Still walking, the view now cuts to Terra's upper body and head as she places the water can on the ground and winces. She pulls her hair in front of her face and carefully rubs the back of her head.

Terra:
...I may be her vessel, but I cannot stake claim to her purity.

Terra: No... These traits are a product of humanity. A humanity that is capable of breeding people like me... People like you... and people like Marisa Welch.

The view goes to the back of Terra's head to see what the focus of her touch is. She runs her hands across 7 stitches in the back of her head, visible through the spot of shaven hair on the back of her head.

Terra:
Young flowers, much like you, Marisa... They are beautiful and full of life. They give us hope through their energy and potential.

Terra smiles and brushes her hair back, covering the stitched up laceration that came as a result of the chair shot on Riot one week ago. She picks up her water can and continues walking as the camera follows her, focusing on her face. Her voice can still be heard over the video.

Terra:
...but unlike these flowers, you exhibit an unusual amount of insecurity, which you display to the world through your outfits, your behaviors, your language.

Terra: One week ago, you must have found that our previous competitions exposed that insecurity, and you decided to put seven stiches in the back of my head.

Terra stops and leans down to examine another small, youthful sprout. This one seems less developed, less lively and possibly in need of water.

Terra:
...I am saddened to say that while Mater Natura does not decide fate based on these imperfect human characteristics...

Terra reaches forward and chrushes the young flower in her fist. She clinches her teeth during the process and closes her eyes, tilting her head back.

Terra:
...I am yet another one of her imperfect creations. I am her vessel, yet I am human... and in order to educate you and expose your insecurities, I will be coming to see you sooner than you think.

The camera cuts once more to see the sun shining on Terra's face. She takes a deep breath and now the words come from her mouth instead of a voiceover.

Terra:
Please bring your best, Marisa. You are going to need it.
