The cameras open up in the Sanctum locker room, we know this because of the huge Sanctum Flag that is covering the area where the camera is shooting.
Coming into frame at the same time are both James Fraser and Sheldon Tremblay. The OCW Undisputed Tag Team Champions standing shoulder to shoulder as Tremblay leads the address.
Sheldon: So, Gentlemen, we had a genuinely magnificent Anniversary Show. Now it's back to work for us. We now have our Number One Contender to these precious belts around Fraser and my waist.
Sheldon:
And I am genuinely surprised about Parker in that match. Hey, maybe he finally has his shit together. Possibly Carter doesn't need his bloated piece of muscle named Marcus McMichaels, after all.
Sheldon: So TWC, you got me excited. You better give it you're all. That brings me to Jon. I noticed something in your last words weeks ago ... you show a truly unhealthy obsession with numbers. So I'm gonna take the initiative and fuel your fire with the following words. How is 0-2? Your record in tag matches vs. Sanctum, I mean, feels terrible, right? It hurts your ego, and after your encounter with Doc, we probably all know how fractured your ego is.
Sheldon: So you better get this done right, or you may lose the last bit of sanity you have ...
Fraser: Isn’t he just great? I mean seriously the young lad has found his footing and most of the time it comes at the expense of The Wrestle Club! Speaking of which, John, Elliot, great win at the Anniversary show lads. It was well earned and you guys showed even after a few hundred attempts you can eventually win one.
Fraser: Now while I am not overly excited about the prospect of facing you lot once again that is okay though. Simply because at the end of the day I know you two want what we have, and that is these bad boys right here.
Fraser takes his championship off of his waist and hoists it in the air while he slaps Sheldons’ which is positioned firmly on his waist.
Fraser: We did something nobody thought we could’ve possibly done. Everyone assumed TWC would walk right through us, then they doubted us against Puro Country. Rightfully so to be honest, I won’t lie I was damn near shitting my britches. BUT! We pulled it off and we did the impossible.
Fraser: Now? Me and my partner are gonna walk into wherever we must meet to defend these titles against you boys and we will no matter the cost. Riot, Turmoil, Ambition, Certified Greatness it doesn’t matter. What does matter is that these tag team titles are staying with Sanctum.
Sheldon: So you see gentleman we are ready to go to war, and you know the outcome …
Sheldon: SANCTUM LADS ON TOP.
Fraser: Isn’t this kid just the greatest? Ah I swear I will never get tired of hearing that. Come on Sheldon let’s go get some grub I am starving!
The two men both nod at the cameras and walk out of frame as the cameras pan back to the announcers' desk.
ARBY'S BEEF BATTLE NUMERO UNO! SIDDHANT vs. MARK REESE
Fading in, we see a video of a very bright sun setting over the desert mountains. The air ripples with heat as a voice plays over it.
The voice is calm and soothing, juxtaposed to the harsh sound of cracked, dry, burning concrete in the foreground.
The voice belongs to 'The Who', Viktor Karmine.
Karmine: In the big cities, they don't have time to coddle or ask how you're feeling.
Karmine: They barely have enough time to ask who you are.
The scene shifts from the setting sun to a green street sign that reads "Phoenix City Limits". The sign is small and rests crooked on the side of the blistering street.
Karmine: Instead, they'll make a judgement call. They'll look at your frame, your hair, your eyes, what you're wearing and they decide right then and there who you are to them.
Karmine: That's just how it is.
Again the scene shifts, this time to a small warehouse-like building, the view placing it directly under the orange tinge from the setting sun. Inside the warehouse, we faintly see a small wrestling ring, surrounded by mats and aprons.
Karmine: Maybe you're a little shorter than them, maybe a little thinner, maybe you don't speak the way they think you should. Eh.
Karmine: What really matters is not who they think you are.
Karmine: It's who you prove yourself to be.
Another scene change, as the interior of the warehouse is shown, with Karmine seen in the ring, sparring with another trainee.
Karmine: Nothing that has ever been said to me or about me can overtake my commitment and training in the art of combat.
Karmine: Nor can it dampen the respect I have for those who came before me. Last week, I found that not everyone here has that same characteristic.
Karmine: Jacob O'Grady, "Hyper Mantis Red", as he's called here... He proved who he was last week when he disrespected a legend like Chris Baxter. In fact, he proved who he was last year, too.
Karmine: And if you want to know who I am? You want to know who's next in OCW? You want to know who else is looking for another opportunity to prove who they are?
Another scene shift, Karmine bows to his opponent and shakes his hand, before the scene focuses on him. His voice shifts from a voiceover to live audio, as he breaths heavily following his sparring session and looks straight forward.
Karmine: I am The Who. I am Viktor Karmine.
Harvey Hamilton Ocean leisurely walks towards Dominion’s locker room. He stares at their nametag for a moment and gets ready to knock.
??? Whoa, whoa, whoa there Temp Champ?
Harvey clenches his teeth and balls his right hand into a fist slowly. He takes a deep breath and whispers to himself.
I will not release my brother’s rage.
Harvey cools the blood within his veins and releases the tension. He turns slowly to be met by an arch rival.
H2O: Temp Champ?
Rust: Just messing with you, Harvey.
The 2 nemesis stare in each other's eyes and stay silent for a brief moment.
Rust: Congratulations on finally put down the terrible Reign of Terror our "Brother" installed.
Rust:It is just funny to me, I felt like I was destined to be the one, but you did it. And as weird at it is, we once again still cross paths..
H2O: Funny guy I see. You should play the lotto because today is your lucky day. Defending a title against a formidable foe is why I am here.
Former OCW World Heavyweight Champion Rust Cohle leans back up against the wall with one foot up. He folds his arms across his chest and looks at Harvey with a surprised look across his face.
Rust: Hum ? Nah. You know as well as I know, if you were to choose me, it would end up the same way it always does.. Death, taxes, and Rust Cohle beats Harvey Ocean.
Rust: Don't be that impatient to repeat your past mistakes. Big brother really did a number to your noggin’.
In that instance in his mind Harvey sees himself knocking Rust Cohle out cold with The OCW World Heavyweight Title. But then…
H2O: Don’t ever mention my brother again.
Rust: Ewww. I felt that. Code Red Alert, Blood Rain is coming. But you know who I am. Mental Warfare has always been my forte.
H2O ignores Rusty’s facetiousness.
H2O: Anything about my brother is family business. Not OCW’s. Especially! Not yours!
H2O: Look, do you want to fight me or not? I can just ask Danny Watts. But if Duck Hunt was ever remastered, he’d be the leading role and that’s not the man with the shotgun.
H2O: So I’ll skip him and ask The G.T.G.O.A.T. Is he inside?
Rust: Go ahead and knock. But I got to let you know something. Your family business is your problem. My family, Dominion, has their own fair share of things going on right now. Things more important than just Gold.
Rust: You might think we are interested in you, but we already have THE World Heavyweight Champion. And Nate is busy working out family issues.
Rust: But.. You might have to think twice before challenging any of us. Especially me. History has shown you why already.
Rust: I'll let you celebrate. Take a breather. I know you are a warrior. You truly are. Against all odds you still pull out the incredible scenario. Just not against Dominion, and FrenchBlade Rust Cohle.
Both superstars get very close to each other, staring daggers as the crowd gets hyped.
H2O: All that just to tell me Dominion is cut from the same type of species as Danny Watts. Who would’ve thought.
H2O: This is where I turn around and the “ducks” swarm me from behind.
Harvey closes his eyes, stretches his arms out and walks away. But Rust Cohle ignores his provokness.
Rust: Guess I'll see you around, Champ.
H2O: Yeah. See you Rust. Send Nate a text message. I wanna see him.
The scene fades in to show OCW Headquarters from a distance.
Narrator: Based in the concrete jungles of New York, OCW is one of the most successful professional wrestling promotions in the globe. Two of OCW’s finest; The Sultan of Safety, Mugen, and the “Best in the World” Drago Cesar, step inside the ring as rookies for the first time in years. They are……
Drago and Mugen pop up on screen looking quite different than usual. Drago is wearing a propeller hat and a striped t-shirt, wielding a giant lollipop. Mugen has his hair parted downward, wearing a top hat and a monocle.
Narrator: UNDERCOVER ROOKYS.
Drago and Mugen are standing in line at the P3 Power Performance Plant with a bunch of other phreaking rookys. Of course, the eternal rooky Young Ryan approaches Mugen.
Young Ryan: This is my fiftieth OCW tryout….You think I’m gonna finally make it?
Mugen adjusts his monocle.
Mugen: Indubitably so, old spo- I mean old chap. As they always say, the fiftieth time is indeed the charm!
Bill Pine stands across from the line of rookys with his arms behind his back.
Bill Pine: Tonight you will be given a lesson on SAFETY. PROTECT your opponent with the SAFEST of maneuvers at all times. With great SAFETY comes great responsibility.
He walks up to Drago and stares at him face to face. Drago is barely paying attention, instead opting to take a savage bite of the lollipop.
Bill Pine: What’s your name young man?
Drago: Rooky.
Bill Pine: That it? First name?
Drago: Rooky.
Bill Pine: Last name?
Drago: Rooky.
Bill Pine: Rooky Rooky?
Drago: R O O K Y.
Bill Pine: I feel bad for your parents.
Mugen: His father’s name is also Rooky believe it or not. I should know, because I’m his brother.
Bill Pine: And what’s your name? Let me guess, Rooky.
Mugen: Oh no, it’s uh……………………………………………………Brody Storm…..yea that’s it.
Bill looks at the Mugen in disguise with a strange look and just shakes his head before getting back to the tryout with Drago.
Bill Pine: Well then……Rooky, show me your best lariat.
Drago looks around for a moment and shrugs. He winds up and tries to lariat Bill Pine but Bill slaps his arm out of the air and gives him a huge patented Pine Shove back into the lineup of tryout hopefuls.
Drago: Whoaaaaaaaaa. What that for?
Bill Pine: That was not your best lariat, ROOKY! OKAY NEXT GUY!
Bill Points at Mugen who’s eyes you can see glimmer from behind the monocle well because he is the Lord of the Lariat after all.
Bill Pine: Best big boot Brody!
Mugen: Wait, what? I thought it was lariats?
Bill Pine: Gotta keep you on your toes ROOKIE!
Mugen shrugs and tries to deliver a devastating big boot only for Bill Pine to catch his foot in midair and toss him back into the lineup of nervous tryout hopefuls.
Mugen: AHHHH—-- what was that?!
Bill Pine: Didn’t try hard enough. Didn’t have conviction in your hips delivering that. NEXT!
A flabbergasted Mugen puts his monocle back on as Bill points at Young Ryan, the eternal rookie.
Young Ryan: Please sir, I’ll do whatever you want.
Bill Pine: Is that so? Alright, give me a double shooting star press.
Everybody in the room include our beloved P3 gasp in the room from the request.
Young Ryan: A what sir?
Bill Pine: YOU HEARD ME ROOKIE! GET ON THAT PLATFORM OVER THERE AND DELIVER A FREAKIN DOUBLE SHOOTING STAR!
Young Ryan: But there’s no crash pad or anything.
Bill Pine: YOU ARE A ROOKIE! YOU DON’T DESERVE A CRASH PAD!
A nervous, sweating Young Ryan climbs up the designated platform thats really just a bunch of crates stacked on each other and takes a deep breath.
Young Ryan: Here goes nothing.
Young Ryan does the blessing of the cross real quickly before he leaps up into the air. It almost feels like slow motion as we see him do one rotation in the air but before he can even attempt to get to the second rotation he crashes and burns HARD onto the unforgiving concrete floor.
Everyone (but Bill Pine): OHHHHHHHH MY GODDDDDDD
The Sensational Impersonator pops up from the corner of the screen like he was Smoke from Mortal Kombat
As all the trainees but Mugen and Drago run towards the completely knocked out, possibly crippled Young Ryan, Bill Pine approaches the duo.
Bill Pine: I know who you guys are. Your disguises fool no one boys.
Mugen: What uh uh uh I mean, what could you be talking about old sport?
Bill rips the monocle away and slaps the top hat off.
Mugen: OH! HI SENSEI!
Bill then proceeds to slap the propeller hat and lollipop out of Drago’s grasp.
Drago: Hey!
Bill Pine: What the hell are Drago and Mugen doing with a bunch of rookies?
Drago: We wanted to see what it was like to be rooky again.
Mugen pulls out a tiny handbook. The cover reads, “The OCW Handbook.”
Mugen: I still don’t understand any of this.
???: Oi bruv, watch me.
The three turn their attention to Graham Greene III perched up on the makeshift platform Young Ryan just concussed himself from.
GGIII: I’m safer than safe. I’m like a black Mugen or somefin’.
GGIII proceeds to leap from the platform and somehow suspend himself in midair while flipping repeatedly. Everyone is awestruck by this impossible feat. After a few seconds, Graham gently descends and lands on his feet right next to Young Ryan. He then elbow drops the poor eternal rookie so hard, both of them are sent crashing through the floor.
