OCWFED.com Presents Riot

We hear a familiar theme as we get a sweeping shot of the set of Maxxed Out!

Maxx: Welcome Back Ladies & Gentlemen! My Name is Maxx Edwards and this is Maxxed Out!

A canned applause track is played.

Maxx: Last Time here on Maxxed Out, we were forced to share the air time with some inferior show.

Maxx: But alas, we are able to kick them off TV and we now have the full time slot.

Maxx: Things have changed since then and that brings us to tonight’s guest.

A small drumroll commences

Maxx: Been in this business longer than I have…

Maxx: Very elusive but equally as historic…

Maxx: OCW’s Very Own…

Maxx: INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP BELT

The lights shine on the International Title in all it’s glory as it sits perched on a red pillow.

A cheering track is played but the collective groan of the in-house audience is not drowned out.

Maxx: Now, recently your position as the Best White Strap of OCW has been challenged by the reintroduction of the North American Championship, what do you have to say?

International Championship: …

Maxx: That’s absolutely correct! The belt has already been tainted with the fingerprints of scum, while you’re looking as pristine as ever under the hands of the Titan of Television.

A poorly edited transition takes place to a closer shot of Maxx.

Maxx: Speaking of Television, we have our first sponsor of the show.

Maxx: Maxxed Out is brought to you by Thomas Archer and I’s latest endeavor, META’s luxurious Quest headset.

Maxx: VR so good some would say “It Hits Different”*wink*

The same transition is played again as the camera cuts back to the previous shot.

Maxx: Our last segment for the day is a spotlight on some of the most deserving and hardworking members within OCW.

Audible “oooos” can be heard from the crowd.

Maxx: The Recent 17th Anniversary show featured a lot of the brightest stars and hottest talents in OCW…

Numerous audience members chant the names of OCW’s top talent such as Antonio Everrett, Colin Locke and H2O.

Maxx: But no star shone brighter than my own.

Maxx: Not only did I defend what’s most important to me against one of the fastest rising talents in OCW but I also managed to pick up numerous awards while doing so.

Maxx: Besides that, the second best part of the show was the Battle Royale where UAE’s very own Colby McCallum was able to outlast 5 other men to pick up the victory while many of you watching aren’t able to outlast your mother telling you to “Get a real job”.

Maxx: For the most intelligent of men, The Dreadnought of Drogheda will also feature next week on Turmoil taking his rightful place in the Main Event.

Maxx: Unfortunately, that’s all the time we have for today…

”DANGEROUS GROUND” starts playing instead of the show’s usual outro track, interrupting and infuriating Maxx Edwards.

Nerdy Assistant: Sorry, I hit the wrong one.

The assistant scrambles around until he finds the right button and the Maxxed Out theme starts playing over Maxx’s scolding.

Maxx: YEAH, YOU BETTER BE SORRY BECAUSE THE LAST THING THAT I NEED IS SOME FILTHY ANIMAL STANDING RIGHT BEHIND ME INVADING MY OWN SHOW.

The Crew stare blankly at Maxx as he begins to realize his fate.

He slowly turns around to find Mark Reese standing right behind him as the show goes off the air.

The winner of the Super S-Cup, MISTER Marcus McMichaels, sits on the edge of his bed doing 100 pound curl lifts.

Marcus:
 22, 23, 24 eh, twentyyyyy- FIVE.

Marcus puts his dumb bells down onto the floor of his bedroom. An old man in a wheelchair rolls himself in front of Marcus’s bedroom door.

Marcus can feel the presence of someone watching him. He knows it can only be one man.

Marcus:
Hey Pops. You came to watch The Wrestling Club continue to make a name for themselves?

Pops: Yes and without you. Why haven’t you been competing lately. Is this not what you want anymore already?

Marcus continues watching tv intensely. Waiting for the next Wrestling Club promo.

Marcus:
 It is what I want.

Pops: No it isn’t. I haven’t seen you train as hard as you used to ever since The Super S-Cup. Granted, you went to work sick and underperformed the last couple times.

Pops: But that didn’t stop that little Ocean guy. He’s The OCW World Heavyweight Champion now. You should be a champion of any kind right now.

Marcus: He took sick days off before he returned. Whereas I take no days off…and failed.

Pops: Oh, I get it. You’re not used to failing.

Marcus: I let you down, Pops. The undefeated streak is gone. That’s not our Fundamental Family Values. Losing is not an option.

Pops: What did you really lose? The Wrestling Club are number one contender’s once again. Harris Turner proved why you’re the best from the S-Cup with no hype. But with hype behind him, he lost to The International Champion Maxx Edwards.

Pops: Our family doesn’t lose. So stop talking like this. You sound weak!

Marcus: Yes, Pop.

Marcus looks over and notices his Pops is gone from his bedroom door. He picks up his dumbbells again and continues to workout and watch OCW.

It's a Match!

ARBY'S MATCH! THE MEATS!
K'DANGELO vs. OWEN(c)

Jim Black: Ladies and Gentlemen we are live on Riot 580, we’ve got a great main event coming up for you later tonight with Nate Ortiz taking on Alastair Ross, but two men who have a vested interest in that matchup tonight are standing by with me right now, please welcome Tony Everrett and DOC, the Uncrowned!

The camera pans to the left and reveals the Uncrowned, standing defiantly next to Jim Black.

Black:
Fellas thanks for stopping by. Tony, a night of mixed emotions for you at the Anniversary Show.

Black: First off, congratulations on a hard fought victory against Jacob Trance, but we did also see you come to the aid of your tag team partner after a post-match attack from the leader of your faction. How are you feeling at this current moment in time?

Everrett: Well, Jim, I won’t lie to you big man, it’s been a tough week. Thankfully, we were able to get DOC’s knee checked out quickly and he’s going to be okay. But honestly, I’ve been struggling to come to terms with how a man who I've looked up to for so long could try and pull something like Nate did to my brother.

Everrett: Whatever issue Nate and DOC have with each other, I have tried and tried to stay out of it but at Anniversary, that was a bridge too far, and I had to do something.

DOC: Listen, I’m not gonna begrudge you Nate for what you did at Anniversary, because if I were you, I would want me dead and buried too.

DOC: Before Anniversary, I saw many looks in your eyes when I stood toe to toe with you, everything from stone cold calmness to unbridled rage, but swear on my beautiful mum’s life, I never once saw you show fear. The other night, I saw it, everyone saw it Nate, you got scared.

DOC: But I survived, Nate, I survived. If it wasn’t for that loaded fist, I wouldn’t have just climbed Mount Ortiz, I would’ve conquered it as well.

DOC: And you trying to take me out like that, well, it was about the biggest compliment a man like you could ever give. That being said, it can’t run again and I’m… we’re not finished with this little family reunion just yet.

Everrett: So, I want to propose something to you, Franchize. Next week, on Turmoil, MY show, we’ll meet you in the centre of the ring, and we can talk this out like men. Bring whoever you want, we’ll be waiting for you. Let’s settle this in the only way DOC and I know how.

With that, Everrett drops the mic and the Uncrowned boys walk out of frame.

Black:
Some fighting words from the Uncrowned there for sure, stick with us folks, we’ll be right back as Riot rolls on!

The camera cuts to the backstage area, where Christian Garcia is seen leaning against a wall, wearing the same leather jacket he wore to Anniversary. He seems unusually happy.

CG: You know, I started to realize on Turmoil, after I beat Rust Cohle, that I was looking at this thing all wrong. I insisted that I belonged here, that I deserved everyone’s respect, that I was the future of this company.

CG: But I realized after I beat Rust, one on one, fair and square, in that moment… it didn’t mean anything. At the end of the day, I would never be The Guy. I would never be able to measure up to the benchmark.

CG shrugs his shoulders, still smiling.

CG: I was coming at it all the wrong way, is what I figured out. It’s not about money, it’s not about respect, it’s not even really about wins and losses. It’s about standing up for what you hold close to you. Be that traditional wrestling, be it family, be it your crew, be it money, be it anything, really.

CG: And I took inventory, and figured it out. It’s not wrestling.

CG: BUT, see, Wrex made me a promise, about two weeks after I signed this company, when I first had the realization that maybe I wasn’t cut out for wrestling. We’d had a little tussle in the back, I’d knocked your teeth out, you broke my nose, fair trade.

CG: You told me that I didn’t get to leave until you were finished. So, Wrex, I’m sending you an invitation. Go ahead! Finish it. Because if you don’t… you, Dennis, Gonzalo? NONE of you are safe from me.

CG steps slightly out of frame and lifts up a familiar weapon… a baseball bat.

CG: Now, things are about to get INTERESTING, Big Boss Ross! Because I found what I'm looking for... and I might not be able to take your crown... but I'll settle for your belt.
