A camera follows Jaysin Sensation as he makes his way to his office. He looks laid back and appears to be much better following his bout with illness last week during Turmoil.
The CEO of OCWFed taps away at his phone, enjoying what is often a rare moment of peace in the halls of Madison Square Garden on a Friday night.
He turns the corner to his office, barely glancing upwards until he makes one final swipe and deposits his phone into the breast-pocket of his suit. As he does, he jerks his head backwards, startled by the man standing in front of his desk.
Arms crossed, the 4x former World Champion Quartz stares back at him. He turns to look at the cameraman following the boss, before snapping his head to see himself on the TV in the locker room, which is tuned to RIOT on Twitch.tv. He slowly turns back to Jaysin Sensation.
Quartz: Interesting.
Quartz: After 8 years, I gotta run around this building to speak to you, but you have cameras following you around?
Our Hero: Yes, because I am a very important person doing very important things with my very important wife trying to build a very important life with my very important wife!
Quartz: Oh trust me, I see what you’ve been “dealing with.”
Quartz: Just going through a lot, huh?
Our Hero: No shite, Sherlock Roja! Per the usual we can set up a time to chit chat-
Before he can finish, Quartz interjects angrily.
Quartz: Is that why the past 2 months, you asked me to travel in this weather to come out to the shows and continuously cut me off?
Quartz: Is that why John Carter had his music played during my time?
Quartz: You’re just too busy, is that why The Pivot were suddenly “sent out” to protect Spider?
Quartz: And that nonsense on Ambition on Wednesday? What about that?
Our Hero: If you think I control most of these circus animols? All of you people and the OCW Galaxy petitioned for a kinder, gentler Sensation. So that’s what you got! It’s not FOOT ON NECK season anymore with all these focus groups, Sensitivity training and things like “Wrestler Rights” I’d have half of this roster set in front of the firing squad if this was 2006! So if you think I got a hold of all of these circus monkeys you have another thing coming kimosabe!
Quartz steps slowly and intentionally away from the desk and continues staring at Jaysin Sensation.
Quartz: Sensation, I’ve been here doing whatever it takes to defend OCW and make it the best it can be since the day I showed up. All I’m asking is that I’m showed a fraction of the respect that I have shown you and every-
JCS suddenly reaches into his pocket to frantically pull out his phone. He taps his bluetooth earpiece afterwards.
Inness Quartz unfolds his arms and watches the scene develop, almost in shock he’s once again being interrupted.
Our Hero: GOD DAMMIT…WHAT NOW!?
JCS puts his hand up to Quartz’ face as he shouts back into his phone.
Our Hero: OH GOOD, MORE HORSESHITE!!!! One of the rookies is being swarmed outside by a mob hit with signs outside, something about g... never mind I need to go handle it.
Our Hero: I gotta run, I’ll have my people talk to your…….. you later!
Quartz: What?! Where are you going?!
The CEO of OCWFed runs out of his office and down the hall as Quartz follows, attempting to stop him. The boss has made it too far away as the camera now focuses on Quartz appalled reaction. The recently cleared OCW star clinches both of his fists in anger before looking down at the cameraman, causing him to scurry away in the opposite direction.
Nate Ortiz comes on screen at a podium similar to one you’d see at a coach’s press conference. The International Championship sits on the podium just below the mic as Nate begins to speak.
Nate: OCW Universe it’s a beautiful day to be alive and be here with you. Sorry, I couldn’t make the town for Turmoil last week, but as I said after my match with Bolek, the tread on these tires isn’t what it used to be.
Nate: 20 years of Nate Ortiz is a thing because I care for my body. Quite a few of us from the “old days” have aged like fine wins. While some of these new breed stars curdle like spoiled milk.
Nate: But let me get back on track because I’m here to talk about what’s next for the only International Champion you’ve known in 2025.
Nate: Bolek was more than a worthy challenge, and I’ll see the kid down the road. But, for now, I have some loose ends to tie up. Quartz whenever you’re ready I’ll be waiting for you. Until then, I have to take out a few pieces of trash.
Nate: I’ll be at Turmoil next week to let one of those pieces of trash know face to face.
