The camera cuts to the backstage area where Stacy Clarke is standing next to Colin Locke, both with microphones in hand. They appear to have been mid-conversation before the scene opened, and they react as soon as they realise the camera is on them, both turning to the camera, Colin addressing the audience first.
Colin: Hello everyone! Boys, girls, ladies, gentlemen, and absolutely everything in between with us today, I hope you're enjoying the show.
There's a cheer from the audience before Colin continues.
Colin: Now, I've just been chatting to Stacy, usually we'd have done an interview for this kind of thing, but with all that's happened, I thought it was best to talk to all of you directly, and we'd kind of keep each other on track, if that's alright.
Stacy: Absolutely, Colin. So, last night, we saw Tre Golden take the International Championship, and his celebration was joined by Just Derek, who we can only assume to be the new member of Wolves of the Vanguard? What are you thinking right now?
Colin: You know what, Stacy? I'm not entirely surprised.
Colin rolls his neck, thinking for a moment before he continues.
Colin: So first of all, Danny lost, just as I knew he would. All year I've been pointing at our first meeting in the ring, showing everyone how he kept out of my way, and I proved I was right when I made him tap out to Colin's Lock. Now, it might seem that before, his specialty match was Triple Threats, as that's he he won the belt, but that's no longer the case, clearly.
Stacy: Now, Danny was clearly focused on you, and because of it, he was caught out by Tre Golden's spear-
Colin: Yeah, that's right, sorry for interrupting by the way, but yeah. The truth is, if Danny hadn't been wasting time when he had me stunned in the corner, he could've seen Tre coming. But more importantly, if roles were reversed, the match would've been different. I'd have finished the job with Danny, and turned around in time to catch Tre.
Colin gives the camera a cheeky smile and holds two fingers up.
Colin: I would've caught him, and given him my second scoop of the night. But you know what, you all know this, so what I really want to tell the OCW audience is to enjoy the show. Let Tre have a little fun with his new belt for a bit, because next time I see you, I'll be out in the ring, and I'm gonna let Tre know that he will eventually need to meet me again, to face the Consequence of his actions. He didn't beat me. Let's see if he can one day. Thanks for talking, Stacy, I'll see all of you soon, okay? Have fun.
Stacy is nodding along to Colin's words, and as the interview wraps up and Colin leaves the interview area, the CD cover of Zeal & Ardor's Stranger Fruit album appears in the bottom right of the screen.
Stacy: And that was Colin Locke with some strong words for Tre Golden and Danny Watts, but if you liked Colin's entrance last night, you can hear Zeal & Ardor's single 'Gravedigger's Chant' on Apple Music, Spotify, Bandcamp, and whereever you get your music from, let's get back to the show!
The camera cuts to the next segment, bringing the interview to an end.
BATTLE FOR HOLLYWOOD
Nate Ortiz stands draped in Wrestlution blue as the scene fades in and he begins to speak.
Nate: I’ve walked through these doors, laced up these boots, and given my all more than any man in the history of this place.
Nate: I’ve seen the rise and fall of all of them, and now “The New Storm”, don’t call him Cody is here. Causing chaos all around, I stand in the calm of that storm ready to end it.
Nate: The greatest prize this company has to offer is on the line. I don’t look past that. I embrace the fact that I’ve held it more than any man. To say holding it again wouldn’t be a dream is a lie.
Nate: But tonight is about showing another generation why I’m the GT GOAT. There’s a reason at this show, the biggest one we have I’ve gone on last more than any other. Though the results haven’t gone in my favor, every match has left a mark on this place.
Nate: One last time I walk into the Main Event. Not the Prime slot. THE SLOT. I show Quartz and the locker room why I’m still THE GUY.
Nate: Then I can pull out that rocking chair, survey my Dominion, and rest knowing everything is how it should be.
The scene fades as the Franchize approaches his family who is backstage for tonight’s match.
Baxter Grabs a mic
Baxter: The tides are changing, and they have sailed into the depths of hell and back.
*walks around the ring*
Baxter: For you see, I was born from that journey, a journey where the reaper of the sea was born. for you see, my name is DAVEY JONES.
*Jones lets out a scream*
Jones: all the lost souls come through me. and i can either take them aboard, or take them to their doom. for you see, we all float down sea. and as we all must pay the piper, we all go to the locker one day. And I'm just the one to take ya landlubbers.
*jones holds his head*
Jones: so be on notice. I dont care who it is that i cross paths with in the future. they say the sea may be unforgiving, but I am the one who the sea fears to swallow. Davey Jones, has set sail for O .. C .. W
*Camera fades as Davey Jones exits the ring*
